Greno talks about his work with the film My Peoples which started off as an unused Disney film untitled Endless Animation bought the rights from it in Y2, which Barry Cook was supposed to write and direct but the director had O$Corp’s Hope Fear Adventure, so Greno was bought on and delivered a knockout pitch that Irving loved, claiming this can put them on the map. My Peoples was later a huge box office success, and was one of the three films the studio got nominated for Best Animated Feature. LeFauve then talks about her experience on Can You Imagine?, Endless Entertainment and Endless Animation’s biggest film at the box office and critically, a film she wrote with the director Genndy Tartakovsky, which which also a cancelled animated film that Endless bought but at Sony. LeFauve said although Tartakovsky was the main genius behind the film, as she was bought for rewrites, she did contributed to the suggestions of a few things like the animation change that was applauded and some story additions. Endless was so impressed that LeFauve and Greno were assigned a project. LeFauve jokes “It was only natural they did another unused animated feature”

We start the presentations off with the updated Endless Entertainment logo. We start with the camera film coming out of a projector, each piece of film is a scene from a popular movie they made (Treasure Planet, My Peoples, Blue and Gold, God Of War, Can You Imagine, Crash Bandicoot, Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive, Kingdom of The Sun and Lilo and Stitch) at fast speed. We see the camera film form an infinity symbol and bronze letters spelling Endless Entertainment below. The film turns to a pure black and we go inside the film. The crowd goes nuts for the logo. Cheers are heard every corner of the room. CEO of Endless Entertainment, Xavier B. Irving, walks on stage shaking hands with some of the people up front. Xavier thanks everyone for coming and is visibly excited to show everyone the Y5 and beyond slate. Xavier says this year was one of Endless Entertainment’s greatest years, noting hits like Blue and Gold, Can You Imagine and Kingdom of The Sun, Infinite Studios first major success with Food Wars but first like last year they’ll start with the crown jewel of the studios; their animation arm. CEO of Endless Animation, Chris McKay sporting a long fake mustache like Earl from Can You Imagine, reveals that they’ll be unveiling a major slate all the way to Y8, (we see a massive slate with logos only and dates. Gadget and Squirrel Girl are the only films with dates and logos, Larrikins is nowhere to be seen. (A whopping 14 films are in development and scheduled from now to Y8; 3 films are for Y5, 5 for Y6, 4 for Y7, and 2 for early Y8) McKay then shows EA’s previous films box office results. McKay thanks the audience and everyone everywhere for seeing their movies. McKay brings out a panel of directors; Mark Dindal, Daron Nefcy, Tim Minuchin, Chris Miller and a slew of directors with known and unknown projects: Nathan Greno, Meg LaFauve, Peter Ramsey, Edgar Wright, Joe Dante, Brenda Chapman, Zach Snyder, Rebecca Sugar, Henry Selick, and Ava DuVernay. The audiences goes absolutely ballistic. McKay reveals although the output is increasing they won’t do just CG animated PG rated projects, revealing some upcoming ones are PG-13 and use different methods of animation. McKay sadly announces due to story problems, Larrikins is being pushed back to Y6 for the time being but McKay suspects that the audience may be a bit more intrigued on the next project. Nathan Greno and Meg LaFauve both take the stage.

I’m genuinely concerned if Can You Imagine makes it.

The budget according to Variety is $90M.

Honestly impressed Spider Verse is PG-13, hope it does well for the sake of breaking the animation=kids stigma that has riddled animation for years.

I saw a tv spot a few minutes ago that said PG.

As such, Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the first big movie to hit the marquee following Thanksgiving, and should the film –which we hear is great– comes up short in its opening weekend, it will likely find an audience in the post-season holiday. We’re hearing a $30M+ start is reasonable for this movie, but it could jump up as high as $40M. This is nice, especially considering hype has gone down a bit.

God Damn @ Creed II. May do $60M five day. And great for Ralph 2, I think $90M five day is possible.

I’m concerned yet intrigued if KOTS and/or CYI? make the top 10.

I feel it can work, outside of the Odyssey and War of The Gods (which was a one film deal) it’s not an overused one. The space opera one is though however we’re doing a lot to differentiate.

Ralph 3 needs to arrive ASAP. Ralph Breaks The Internet is probably one of my favorite movies of the year so far. Really glad I was wrong about it.

I don’t know how I feel about the fact three documentaries are in the 21-25 slots.

As for GameVerse, I am done after Skylanders. As I don’t really want to continue the franchise.

I am waiting on if you still want to do that crossover, but as for now I don’t know about a threequel. I learned from what went wrong in both entries and improve on it but I am not in much of a rush to do a sequel in the near future not due to reviews cause I’m not a quitter but mainly due to box office and budget ($200M budget with $625M WW isn’t a good look) but we’ll see when Y7-8 comes around the corner and I guarantee you won't see the last of them.
