  1. The movie I want to make next year, although it’s a tentpole will have a mainly Hispanic cast as well as Jorge R Gutierrez (Book of Life, El Tigre) writing and directing.
  2. Maybe but I’d have to double check for her I have plans for Moner but she’s a bit too old for the role Also maybe. Thanks, though.
  3. Casting help: I need an Hispanic actress around Anthony Gonzalez age. (13 at least, 15 at most).
  4. @cayommagazine Skylanders: Worlds Collide has been pushed back to Y6 to let more ideas brew but Mark Dindal’s Inspector Gadget will arrive Y5 in its place, aiming for the start of May Y5.
  5. While we’re at it Nefcy is doing 2LBH anymore, Soren has returned. But Nefcy is doing my own Squirrel Girl next year.
  6. @Slambros although I already made it Y3, you can have the rights to Things Fall Apart although I don’t think you’ll be able to make a movie until Y8 or so about it.
  7. That won’t open until probably later next month at the earliest if I had to guess. The advanced schedule though will probably open within the next two to three weeks, where you can start claiming release dates and directors and what not. If you want to claim some franchises ahead of time, head over to the New Franchise Rights Thread. Also you can post updates on the CAYOM magazine thread on your potential studio/slate if you want to get some early buzz going.
  8. Glad to see you’re interested and glad to have you onboard. If you want you can perhaps review Y4 films if you have the time, as the Oscars process hasn’t started yet and in a few weeks the advanced schedule for the Y5 calendar should open around then.
  9. Charlie Day, Jake Gyllenhaal and MacKenzie Foy to join the main cast. Day voices the titular character, Gyllenhaal voices Dr. Claw, the main antagonist and Foy voices Gadget’s niece, Penny.
  10. @cayommagazine Endless Animation’s Inspector Gadget has found a director in Mark Dindal and is currently being fast tracked
  11. Starting think A Fool’s Errand might do $20M OW due to Amulet underperforming a bit and the Endless Animation brand power.
  12. Since July, August and September are tomorrow, here’s my bold guesses: Jaws pulls a mini JW ($100M+ OW/$300M finish) Princess Diaries 3 benefits mainly due to lack of female oriented movies in July and pulls an upset and opens over GoWR (both in the $45M-$50M OW range) Amulet II has big OW ($115M) but bad legs for animated movies due to kids not being all appealed due to length. ThunderCats, The Doppleganger and I Am Omega underperform A Fool’s Errand does around $12M OW but legs it to $60M By The Balls does around BlacKkKlansman both OW and DOM Resonance has pretty solid OW ($25M-$30M) TT4FFBH opens to $35M+ Tulpa has $30M four day Welles has $25M four day Big Enough has sub $10M OW The Swarm takes the record for September ($50M+) Inside Man does what Peppermint did Lucid and Crash Bandicoot 2 do $50M+ OWs
  13. Same for The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, should benefit from being the most kid friendly.
  14. I don’t see why everyone is so surprised (it was obvious when Gauntlet underperformed) but congrats @Rorschach you earned it.
