CAYOM YEAR 3 - PART I - MOVIE SUBMISSION
YM! replied to Xillix's topic in Create A Year Of Movies (CAYOM)
@Xillix My Peoples (animation/comedy/romance) is moving to 2/8/Y3 along with an IMAX release. -
Might push My Peoples up a week regardless of Celestial Voyage.

The Box Office Buzz and Tracking Thread: Electric Boogaloo

Ready Player One North Shore Cinema 3/28/18 (2 days before previews, 3 days before release) Mequon, WI 7:00 - 39/301 - USCR 8:00 - 2/142 - 3D 10:30 - 6/301 - USCR Running 2% ahead of Dunkirk ($51.51M OW or 4 Day) and 95% ahead of Time ($64.58M OW/4 day (the latter is a stretch but technically the best mid range openers I can find at the same point in time)) -
I feel like for some strange reason, teens and gamers will flock to this thinking it’s the game.

The boy Kendrick is in two movies this year.

So is the date April 15th or April 22nd?
-
Personally, Panther is my favorite MCU movie and yes I understand the critiques and respect that other weren’t too hot on it but their audience clearly resonated with it otherwise it wouldn’t have had this strong legs even with one of the most shittiest March’s so far.
-
To be fair, mixed reviews, a muddled marketing campaign and the show was still strong on Netflix. But still WAG and September don’t go together, look at Ninjago, Storks or Owls. Thinking there’s a shot at PR numbers are possible, if Lebron and Zendaya come into clutch, and has decent reviews, but I’m not banking on it. A run around Storks is more likely due to Clock the week prior and Goosebumps 2 2 weeks later but I doubt it’ll make the current date.

Is Splatoon part of the NCU you and Alpha are doing?
-
Street Sharks or SWAT Kats 2.

The Star never really appealed to audiences, Ferdinand had strong legs but got drowned out by Jumanji and Jedi, Coco had its legs axed off due to competition and screen loss but had Pixar behind it and was amazing, Paddington 2, sadly wasn’t meant for great ness, and Peter Rabbit was also good. Gnomes looked like crap it had nothing to do with Moviepass.
-
Not even close, especially when Moviepass is only 2%. It’s a matter of how appealing it is.

Along with My Peoples, I going to mainly focus on Alpha Flight this weekend. (I can’t crack the second/third act yet. It seems too generic or too muddled every time I run through it.)
-
I vote for 15th. AP finals and finals are in May for me and would like to get reviews in prior. However I understand the 22nd as well.

Wrong. He helped his family chef by grabbing the pepperoni.
