Having seen it. I think Homecoming will have long legs due to the quality. It's an absolute crowd pleaser. My audience laughed at every joke, even my hard to please mother liked it who's very picky when it comes to CBMs. Thinking around $100M-$110M OW though. I think if WW is the Dory/JW of summer 2017, Homecoming is the Pets/IO of summer 2017.

I agree. I even have an Emoji over Cloudy 2 club ($119.7M). I think if it has great reviews like 70%+ it'll do $150M. DM3 and C3 were peaked sequels and sadly CU had limited appeal. With 90%, $200M can happen.

I knew this would end up like Shrek 4. Both had a surprise hit original, an overperfoming sequel, and a big but bad third film that's below the original domestically.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (all Thursday previews in Ultrascreen 3D for now) 7/6/17 (1 week before release) 7:00 - 97/301 9:55 - 30/301 Solid increases all around. By Next Monday or Tuesday they'll be more showings. -

Despicable M3 (All showings in Ultrascreen for Thursday) 6/29/17 (4 hours before release) 6:00 - 79/301 8:00 - 45/301 10:30 - 14/301 138/903 - 15.2% of tickets sold. This will definitely increase tonight. Going to guess $4M-$5M for previews.
