I have a good feeling about Wonder Woman, it's played in front of my showing of BATB and got a good reaction. I think Fast 8 will drop from Fast 7 but $115-120m would be solid for it

Beauty and the Beast is just brilliant, it's no surprise it's doing so well. I suspect it'll be the highest opening weekend of the year until Star Wars The Last Jedi as I doubt any other release will come close.

Ninjago will probably get $35-40m OW, I could see Kingsman breaking the September record though

To be fair, it was always going to have a limited audience and I suspect it's made its money just from the UK alone. Anything else is just gravy

Probably will be difficult for a Tarzan run, I imagine Pirates, Alien and WB's own Wonder Woman will cut its legs, it might get to $100m domestic

That's true even non horror films like Whiplash! I suspect his most expensive project was probably The Normal Heart for HBO. James Wan's pretty good at keeping budgets sensible although The Conjuring 1 and 2 were more expensive due to being period pieces.

To be fair, Orion which I think is a MGM subsidiary isn't exactly Universal Pictures and I suspect Blumhouse has made profit from Split and Get Out to cover any losses.

As long as Disney has the trademarks, no one legally use Mickey's image without licensing it from Disney. To use another example, The Wizard of Oz books are in the public domain but anything related to the 1939 film like the ruby slippers and Dorothy's dress can't be used because they're trademarked to Warner Bros through Turner Entertainment unless they license it. It'll be the same with Tom and Jerry and the Looney Tunes,

Disney has Mickey's trademarks so no one other than Disney will be able to use his image or sell any of his short films, march etc

Thats is one sequel that will never get approval from the Rodgers and Hammerstein company! That clip is great, I imagine diving into banknotes would give you tons of papercuts

I think the Genie should be more like the stage version which is more like Cab Calloway and Fats Waller which was Howard Ashman's idea for the Genie before they cast Robin Williams. Someone like Jamie Foxx or John Legend would be quite well although I'd lean toward Foxx as he can sing and be funny.

Mulan will be successful but not Jungle Book or BATB successful, I think if it can do similar numbers to Maleficent or Cinderella, Disney will be satisfied. I really want Hunchback to be done as a live action movie musical but i think it would be a huge risk because it's not a happy story.

1. Algren was pretty awful, I don't remember him that well but I know he stanned for Stallone movies. 2. I am happy with being played by Henry Cavill but not happy I'm being bunked up with Ethan!
