Oh my god that trailer is incredible. So fun and so well put together. If that doesn't get people into theaters I don't know what will. Easily the best Kong promo so far. The action looks fun, the humor hits and by god does it look pretty. Bring on March 10th! (9th for me )

That's a move I didn't see coming. I'm hoping that it's great and gets more people on board. I just hope that they don't go overboard and show too much. We have already seen so much of the film from trailers and TV spots- hell even the FOUR clips they released. I don't know if I want to even watch it, but it's good business for them to do this.

The Last Jedi. I think the trailers for Kong look great. Visually and stylistically it's very pleasing and i'm just looking forward to an action packed, fun monster movie. I didn't like Jurrasic World very much and thought Godzilla was just okay. This looks great.

But if the movie is good, and the screenings get good word out about the film that is obviously going to increase the amount of seats filled come release. If the movie is bad, and WB know it, they wouldn't have so many screenings and just wait until release to maximize the amount of butts in seats before people realize it's bad.

Yeah they probably are worried- that's why they are showing it to so many people. They think it's a good movie and want people to know that, hence the screenings. If they were worried about the quality of the film and about the awareness of it I don't think we'd see any screenings at all.

My god this movie just looks great. Everything we have seen so far from it just oozes style and spectacle.

What's with the blur effect around the edges of the screen? Iv'e noticed it on all the clips so it must be an artistic choice, looks odd

Really? How come people would find that funny? I have seen the trailer in theaters three times and each time people low key cheered after the trailer. Never had anybody laugh at that part.

Yet another new poster- this time an IMAX version. The posters for this movie have been some of the best I have seen for a while. I hope the movie is as good!

Now that is how a teaser trailer should be. It's incredibly tense, it gives you an idea of the premise but gives nothing away about the plot and the characters. All we know is that they are in a bad situation and that something odd is going on. Also no stupid jump scares is always a plus. Perfect trailer. It looks very good and A24 has been putting out some very good films as of late so i'm very excited for this one!

I'm way more excited for this than I should be. I loved the books as a kid so I hope this movie isn't a miss! Tra-la-laa!

I watch the films right through (1-8) probably three or four times a year, so I guess I miss it, but i'm glad with the material that I can re-watch. I wouldn't want anymore. Those books and movies were my childhood, I would give anything to erase my memory of them and relive that experience just as I did when I was a kid, then grow to appreciate them more as I do now that I have grown up.
