  1. The movie's theatrical release will only be a special 2-week engagement: YOUNG WOMAN AND THE SEA Project Profile.pdf (gettyimages.com).
  2. Guess Jurassic World: Dominion will have been the last Hollywood movie to come out in China.
  3. Looks like Black Adam has been approved for a release in China on November 11th. Waiting for Gavin Feng to confirm... Hey, @Gavin Feng, any chance Black Adam's reported November 11th date for China is legit? Or is it a fool's hope?
  4. @charlie Jatinder, how can you say Doctor Strange 2 is set for a near $200M opening weekend based on $15M in first 24-hour presales: https://twitter.com/meJat32/status/1512250746321793026?s=20&t=OTM3b_3pV4bwtOj55fFcRA? I mean The Batman made $8.5M in first 24-hour presales and lead to a $134M OW. So, there's that. But this statistic has me... curious and wondering how you can make that assumption.
  5. I'm planning 4 viewings of Doctor Strange 2 in its opening weekend in four different formats (IMAX 3D in Lincoln Square, ScreenX, Dolby, and regular 3D).
  6. At least Chip N Dale's new movie on Disney+ has people talking, though
  7. @KnucklesXXR @EmpireCity Are we still sure that Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is 2 hours and 6 minutes long? I was checking the pre-set showtimes and Fandango and they were either 3 hours and 15 minutes apart or 3 hours and 30 minutes apart. I wouldn't think that happens unless a movie is 2.5 hours long. Then again, Morbius is only 1 hour and 44 minutes long and with 24 minutes of previews has showtimes separated by 3 hours long.
  8. YES! It’s official. Paramount Pictures is back! 2022 continues to be their comeback year as #TheLostCity and blows past expectations with a $31M opening weekend. Good news for #SonicTheHedgehog2 in 2 weeks and #TopGunMaverick in just 2 months.
  9. Well, let's see if review change that come out tomorrow. Considering they're dropping this early, I argue that it's a good sign.
  10. Hell Yeah! Paramount should be blessed that 2022 is their comeback year. Can't wait to see if Sonic the Hedgehog 2 does open to $100M as some people here in BOT have suggested it could.
  11. Perhaps, but seeing as how the half of Sam Raimi's last 4 big movies that were positively received were ones that managed to stay under 130 minutes, I see a necessary case for making Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness that long.
  12. Sam Raimi is not known for making 3-hour movies like the Russo Brothers are known to do, since he's a more-established, big-name, quality director, when he is not forced to make stories like Oz the Great and Powerful and Spider-Man 3, the latter more-so blamed on Sony. So, considering that Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness is the same runtime in between the first two Spider-Man movies ever, both done, by Sam Raimi (each 121 minutes and 129 minutes long), it makes sense that Multiverse of Madness IS indeed Sam Raimi's movie as the recent trailer promised it would be when it said in the title card in big bold letters "FROM DIRECTOR SAM RAIMI" like how the final trailer for Eternals highlighted the fact that it WAS and still IS Chloe Zhao's movie as promised when it said in the title card in big bold letters "FROM ACADEMY AWARD WINNING DIRECTOR CHLOE ZHAO."
  13. I don't know. Sam Raimi is not known for making 3 hour movies like the Russo Brothers are since he's a quality director, when he is not force to make stories like Oz the Great and Powerful and Spider-Man 3, the latter more-so blamed on Sony. That being said, @EmpireCity, how do you know this movie is indeed 126 minutes long as you claimed to have heard? Do you have people at Disney telling you this? Or is this what people close to the final stages of production in the movie are telling you right now?
