  1. If it gets to in between those two numbers, Spider-Man: No Way Home will drop 33% drop last weekend with $56.3M.
  2. Any further updates on Morbius' date for pre-sales yet ? I'm eagerly awaiting seeing it in IMAX at AMC Lincoln Square 13 on opening day/night Thursday, January 27th.
  3. I'd rather comic book movies be "bloated and long" to develop and flesh out all the characters and storylines in it, specifically Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, which I hope is exactly 3 hours long, since No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness, to me at least, feel similar to the one-two punch of Infinity War and Endgame, even in their runtimes.
  4. Anyone know if tickets for Morbius will still go on sale on New Year's Eve?
  5. I'm gonna say Infinity War BARELY gets beaten out by No Way Home when the latter does a $258M OW. But that's about it.
  6. Just received word that Spider-Man: No Way Home has gotten an A+ from CinemaScore. This could help its legs.
  7. I guess this might be the first and only film for a while to make a billion worldwide since Star Wars 9 in 2019. The Neo of 2021. An anagram for the word "one." Meaning it is the one to save the box office. If I could make a safe bet, I think the next two years will only have one "Neo" at the worldwide box office to make a billion, 2022's being Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness and 2023's being Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.
  8. Yep. $50M is where I think it's preview numbers will be too
  9. Good news from Cineplex: 075cuofxc0681.png (2550×3300) (redd.it). Chanma50 on Reddit summed it up in a basic manner like this: Basically, they can still sell out shows for Spider-Man: No Way Home, because other movies may be playing to near empty theaters, which offsets overall capacity. In some cases, they may have to move people around a bit, just to ensure that each auditorium isn't too packed (not sure how it works for IMAX, since each location only has one IMAX screen), but they say they're honoring all pre-purchased tickets, and nobody will get their tickets canceled or need to rebook.
  10. I'm gonna say $50M previews is where I land. No more, no less.
  11. Not me. You should see how I've been spreading word of it on social media.
  12. Well, in just 16.8 hours from now, I finally see the world's most long-awaited movie of the year in laser square IMAX in NYC for the first of three viewings. I can't wait to see how everything is about to go down this weekend.
  13. Dan Murrell of Fandom Entertainment who used to be part of Screen Junkies
  14. Well, I'm heading out to watch Jimmy Kimmel to see the No Way Home cast on ABC then go straight to sleep. Fingers crossed with prayers that Spider-Man: No Way Home is in the 75-95% fresh range on Rotten Tomatoes in the morning. 🤞 See you on the other side.
  15. Not sure if anyone heard of this until just now. But, apparently, the first teaser trailer for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness is gonna be the second post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home, something that hasn't been done since the end credits of Captain America: The First Avenger when they showed the first teaser for The Avengers at the end of the movie in 2011, more than 10 years ago: Could this contribute even more to Spider-Man: No Way Home's opening weekend box office?
  16. That's where me and my brother are going opening night as the opening night 3PM IMAX show is all sold out, except for one wheelchair seat in the very front of the theater.
  17. I’m thinking Christmas 2022 is when it comes out because if they keep the budget as low as the first and it’s able to leg out like Bumbleebee but with China eventually back in the game to contribute to it’s global grossings, it would help. Plus, like you said, @lorddemaxus, it should come out in 2022 because you said if they wait three years for a sequel, if it releases anytime later than that than that, they'll just get a Angry Birds 2 at the box office, even though that movie barley broke even at the box office and got a higher score on Rotten Tomatoes than the first movie despite the unexpected 50% financial drop at the box office between both Angry Birds movies. Plus, Christmas 2022 would fit for Sonic 2, because it would fit with what was hinted at in the first post credits scene when Doctor Robotnik said “I’ll be home by Christmas.”
  18. Well, at least Loki is still filming and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier can finish up it’s last week of filming before it’s too late.
  19. Some would disagree if Doctor Strange 2 is filmed primarily indoors on soundstages
