The reception for this movie was very surprising to say the least. I seriously doubt that Lady Gaga is as good of an actress as the critics keep claiming. I have a feeling they are overpraising this movie as a response/backlash to all the big blockbusters. The movie reminds them off the good old old days when a simple love story was enough to excite the audience. We shall see if the movie is a box office success and if it’s even remembered for the Oscars as more movies are released. I seriously doubt it. But congrats to Cooper for staging a comeback. Perhaps he can help ol pal Jennifer Lawrence next time?

venom has potential to do huge numbers. the issue is the movie will most likely be low budget and bad - a netflix movie. they would have probably invested more had they known how much interest there is for the character.

So this is going to be marvels first sub 200 million movie since 2015. I can see captain marvel and the solo black widow movie suffering the same faith. The future looks dark and grim. Just bring us avengers 4 and cancel the rest alredy!
