This is not true sweetie. I post my opinion and could care less if anyone reacts to it. What I said still stands - the movie looks cheap and laggy - people just weren’t interested. In a post Disney/Pixar world quality like that isn’t acceptable. Also by all means hit that ignore button - I’ll consider it a late Xmas gift 💝. -
Nobody watched Spider Verse cause it looks cheap and ugly. Why would anyone pay for a Saturday morning Spider-Man cartoon when there’s a new live action movie coming in a couple of months?

What in the actual fuck is this? Is this a JOKE? Omfg. I’m REPULSED. I didn’t expect much from Madonna’s ex husband director but this is even more of an abomination than I thoguht possible. It looks like a shitty porn parody... or even worse a low budget, CW tv show. Also why is GENIE not a CGI’d and blue? Disney deserves to bomb and fail Jesus Christ. The fact that they are fucking up one of their biggest classics because they are rushing a shitty streaming service nobody wants.

A Tweet has revealed that there’s a clause in a contract relating to the Spider-Man IP which says if Sony were to be sold, the rights would revert back to Marvel. However, then there’s the matter of production and distribution rights, which are entirely separate things. We could end up in a situation where the production rights to Spidey end up back at Marvel, but they still have to put out any solo movies under the ‘Apple Movies’ banner.

Let’s hope that Apple buys Sony so that the Spider-Man rights go back to Disney. We don’t want the brand to be to diluted with crappy movies like venom and low budget non-events like spider verse
