As much as I wish Batman wasn’t constantly at the forefront of everything, WB would’ve been better off if they had just made Batman: No Way Home or something.

Why are people acting like it’s surprising that Todd Phillips would be allowed to do what he wants with the sequel after the first movie made a billion dollars?

I’m not remotely surprised about the Lady Gaga casting (everyone was predicting it anyway), but the part about it being a musical is not something I was expecting to hear. I don’t particularly care for musicals, but if this movie really has to exist, at least they’re apparently doing something different. So, just to recap, since 2016, we’ve had three Jokers and two Batmen, and now we’re getting a second Harley Quinn. To Matt Reeves, whatever you do, please don’t give us another Harley Quinn.

Looks like TGM won’t be making $700 million domestically after all. It’s still doing amazing business, but people may have gotten carried away.

At this point, I’d like to hear more from Daley and Goldstein regarding their apparent feud with Ezra Miller. As I recall, when that 2020 bar incident occurred, one of them posted a cryptic tweet that just said “creative differences”, so it would appear that they didn’t exactly leave on good terms with Miller.

Personally, I’m more interested in seeing how the hacks from publications like Breitbart and The Daily Wire respond to the fact that a kid’s movie would dare acknowledge that gay people exist.

For the record, the main upload of the trailer on WB’s YouTube page reached 17 million views with over 300K likes. That doesn’t seem too bad for a movie like this.

Aside from the obvious fact that Ezra Miller is the lead, they’re also playing more than one character (that’s not a spoiler, the Fandome teaser shows this), so pulling an Army of the Dead would be a nightmare.

Well, reshooting all of Miller’s scenes would only make the whole thing even more expensive, so it looks like they’re in a real pickle.
