    It seems like the seeds are being planted for the X-Men to once again be the dominant Marvel superhero team after the Avengers usurped them in the 2010s.

    If a new Spider-Man with Tom Holland isn’t coming next year, then Marvel’s entire 2025 slate will be one big question mark. None of their movies currently on the schedule for next year are particularly “safe”.

    I never said it was evidence of it. All I said was that Doctor Strange had mixed results when it came to how well received the multiverse aspect was.

    It’s too early to have a good frame of reference for how moviegoers view the multiverse gimmick. It’s worked out great for Spider-Man, not so great for DC and DS2 was seen as a mixed bag.

    I don’t think the Deadpool humor does anything for me anymore.

    If the next trailer is Wolverine centric then I see no reason for them to hold back on showing his mask. We know he wears the yellow suit and we know he has the mask. Why hide it?

    Shadow is definitely a bigger character than Tails and Knuckles. I don’t know how much his presence alone would move the needle, but if they’re banking on people’s nostalgia for Sonic Adventure 2, then that would be something to keep an eye on.

    Just last year Universal moved Exorcist up a week to avoid direct competition with Taylor Swift.

    They should just move this to November 8th. That spot is basically vacant right now, and we’ve had Dreamworks movies released in November before.

    This looks like a big budget version of the Nickelodeon show that’s currently airing, right down to making to Optimus and Megatron’s personalities. Also, yeah, scheduling this the same week as The Wild Robot seems like a dick move.

    I guess I’ll be the guy who’ll try to change the subject here. Does anyone remember hearing about Tim Miller’s pitch for DP2? If I recall, he wanted to possibly do a multiverse story with the Josh Trank Fantastic Four characters crossing over with Deadpool, but the idea was scrapped because Reynolds wanted it to continue the winning formula of the first film. Given that DP3 is a multiverse movie that’s supposed to feature a bunch of other Fox Marvel characters, that seems almost poetic.

    Guys, implied deaths are a thing. They wouldn’t need to show Maria getting shot on-screen.
