How far into production are the fourth and fifth films?

Assuming that WB is trying to make a Gotham-centric universe out of this movie, it’s a little weird that we’re getting a Batgirl movie that seems to be set in the DCEU.

If Nolan wanted to ensure a pure theatrical release, I’m not sure why he went with Universal.

Without having read about any of the spoilers for this movie, I’ve seen some speculation that it’s supposed to serve as a meta commentary on reboots and franchise revivals, and now that I’ve heard that, I sincerely hope that’s the case.

China is a lost cause.

It’s extremely rare for a studio tentpole film to be shorter than 100 minutes these days, but that would suggest that Sony knows the movie’s main appeal is the schlock factor.

Are there any ifs about it at this point? Seriously though, unless they’re only in the movie for a few minutes near the end, I see no reason not to include them in the marketing.

However this movie turns out, I can only hope it doesn’t become the start of a new trilogy or expanded universe. It should be a one-off.

They should’ve just moved it back to September 24th. I will never understand what goes on in the minds of Sony executives.

Most of Christopher Nolan’s post-Batman movies are pretty audience friendly.
