Annoyed by how much was excluded due to them condensing the first 3 games into one movie (Lisa is reduced to just a creepy girl, no Mr X, no giant animals, and the entirety of RE 3 is non-existent), but this was a fun straight to DVD Carpenter riff with shit that made the RE fan in me go "fuck yeah".
I thought Leto, Pacino, and Irons gave good, funny performances. I thought everyone else (including pretty much everyone behind the camera) phoned it in here.
Don't know why Scott decided to try to emulate Ryan Murphy. Feel like All the Money in the World was a more interesting and entertaining version of whatever this was trying to be.
I do have to say though, last time I saw a screening at the cinema I saw this in so crowded was Shang-Chi. Thinking we'll see an overperformance with this this weekend.
Better movies to target for his "noble cause" than one of the most brutal and incisive portrayal of how society treats sexually assaulted women that Hollywood could've produced. He could've chosen a nothing movie like Jungle Cruise and Space Jam 2.
One of the worst things about not living at home is that now I can't stick to my watch schedule because of shitty roommates (well, just one of them). I'm just hoping to get New York, New York done by the deadline at least at this point.
Nah, the ending to this movie and what they do to Harold Ramis is worse than anything in 2016 (both are bad movies). And movie sits at a 62% on RT? Critics have been nice to it if anything.
The nonsense gender essentialist takes about this movie that seem to be coming from younger millenials everytime Ridley Scott says something (like right now) are more annoying than anything Scott has said since the movie's release.
