What Lana is doing here is great. Doing allusions and callbacks to the original movies in ways that could easily be used as nostalgia-bait in the marketing for audiences to eat up, but using them in interesting ways in the actual movie so that it feels more like a subversion of the TFA formula instead of a shit imitation (like the new Ghostbusters). Also, this is gonna clearly be about Neo trying to fight for his love for Trinity right (a line in the trailer made it feel like it and the vieweranon comment seems to confirm it)? This shit is gonna be the most romantic one of these blockbuster movie have been in a while, while also have the best and most inventive action.

Collin literally gave Reminiscence a 3/5. He's given practically all the big blockbusters released this year high scores too and was the only critics on metacritic to give the Snyder Cut a 5/5. He's definitely more lenient than his peers.

KKKG veers very much towards nationalist propaganda, but the dance numbers are really nice. If they wanted a truly great dance number, they could've hired the queen Farah Khan herself for the choreography here.

I thought they included that just for the theatrical release, but TIL that preview is also on the movie's home video releases. If that's the case, this movie will be like 10-15 minutes shorter than the first movie, which isn't a lot.

I checked back and Venom had almost 20 minutes of credits. I have a hard time wrapping around the fact that this film might be just 1 hr 10 minutes long.

Have people on this forum never seen movies with short runtimes before? Before Sunset is 80 minutes long and better than every movie released this year (and the past decade, and the decade before that). This movie still gonna be trash tho.

The embargo usually doesn't lift until the public screening (either right when it starts or right when it ends). The public screening starts in half an hour (10 pm venice time).

The only problem with Revolutions is that the Zion battle is just way too long. Feels more like an extended last act than a movie.
