    Not in NA but fantasy is huge overseas. I know in japan there was a big fantasy series of novels based on the author's dnd game. ( for those curious the series is called record of the lodoss war)

    Because Nintendo is SUPER protective of their IP and the last time a mario movie came in the 90s it was a disaster

    Looking back on the first 2 months of the year vs predictions... The smaller films are doing much better then expected so far. Looks less like an issue of marvel fatigue and more how studios make blockbuster films

    You are not looking in the right places then. Stranger Things and the easiness of playing or running 5e compared to earlier versions has led to a boom period for the franchise! ( hasbro nearly forced that to end but they seemed to have backed off.) and then we get to critical role... A beast so massive they have a 1st look deal at amazon for tv, films and video games

    Kang does all the heavy lifting to get this to a B/B-. The film needed more time on earth in the first act and fleshing out Cassie, the rebel side plot and Modok as a character would make the film much better. Modok's design was never an issue for me. As his design had always been stupid looking
