  1. Nice for Unchartered. Weekend can be around 4M I suppose. Finally a non-MCU Hit for Tom?
  2. Seems like 475-500k ($8M+) tix sale in US (not incl. CAN). Now this isn't exactly 24 hours as early access screenings have contributed roughly $2.5M+ which are on sale for 2-3 days. 2nd best start for a solo superhero movie beating Black Panther, just behind No Way Home. BP however was on sale much earlier and has been 4 years since that. Roughly 3x Eternals start.
  3. yeah but money record stopped mattering in last few years with hyperinflation.
  4. There is a lot of stuff which I am trying to stay away from details. Could very well be just social media click baits.
  5. 66,252 Week in Turkey. Need 24% drops for biggest Hollywood in admits. Seems hard.
  6. No pre-sales has to consider all of them as previews because you are basically burning presales demand with those early screenings
  7. Expected $700M+ considering Demon Slayer did $600M+ last year. Korea and this are disappointing in East Asia but then its ratio to Infinity War is better than India in admits, so...
  8. I will be disappointed if Strange 2 doesn't open $150M+ and if the rumors turn out true even more.
  9. Eternals and NWH are two comps most of us are using. Thing is Batman is too big for Eternals but too small for NWH. Things will start getting better as we move forward.
  10. and IIRC only a few of them actually survived or were rescued from the Island.
  11. The Batman Harkins T-21 Days Format Shows Capacity Sold % Sold Gross ATP Normal 334 82,421 844 1.02% $9,431 $11.17 Cine 1 30 9,012 1,115 12.37% $17,649 $15.83 Cine Capri 6 2,673 98 3.67% $1,416 $14.45 IMAX 3 1,335 280 20.97% $4,480 $16.00 Total 373 95,441 2,337 2.45% $32,976 $14.11 EA Cine1 10 3,004 1,063 35.39% $16,987 $15.98 EA Cine Capri 1 300 131 43.67% $1,965 $15.00 EA IMAX 1 445 387 86.97% $6,192 $16.00 Total 12 3,749 1,581 42.17% $25,144 $15.90 Grand Total 385 99,190 3,918 3.95% $58,120 $14.83 First off 385 shows. The fuck. Anyways, the early access shows are selling well as they should. THU previews are quite good for PLFs as well but regular screenings are not that hot. As for comps, I am gonna use admits since ATP aren't perfect yet as I corrected some of them but some are of NWH rates. Not much diffs though. 3.83x of Eternals first day of sales - $36.4M 2.79x of Eternals T-21 days - $26.5M 0.13x of Spider-man: No Way Home first day of sales - $6.63M LOL. NWH numbers are joke man. Eternals T-21 days comp seems quite reasonable. FWIW roughly 1600 seats from early screenings are 3 days sales. Of course $26M is still inflated, Batman being higher level of film than Eternals, but Eternals had bigger start than what it eventually did i.e. $9.5M. Next few days will give us better idea.
  12. Very provisional but seems like 450-500k tix sold in USA in 24 hours.
  13. On last check WED shows were 41k. Probably 45k by now. I guess 24 hours may be around 70k. So around 115K sold for previews.
  14. Gonna do a full check after midnight, checking one location Cerritos 16 has 208 sold for WED Fan screening and 360 for THU previews. PLFs are good but regular screenings are average. Regular shows are around 2.5x Eternals, PLFs incl WED are 3x. Overall 2.88x of Eternals. In comparison of NWH, regular are 7.5% of NWH while PLFs are 43% of NWH with one extra show. Overall 23% of NWH. Also tix are hiked by a $1 in PLFs. I didn't check regular, but likely hiked there too.
  15. Nostalgia will be there. They just need to make it convincing for the time as we are now exposed to American superheroes, which probably wasn't the case to this extent back then.
  16. Yes Nett numbers are 2nd biggest for a Hindi film. Gross numbers are 3rd biggest for Hindi and 4th overall.
