  3. Yeah sure. Endgame wasn't really optimum target as the film basically ran for 10 days and business after that was almost nothing due to Ramzan starting. Hollywood film can do Rs. 40-50cr in Pakistan.

  9. Didn't find any info on Japan actual chart for that weekend but Disney official number is 1467M.
  10. Aquaman 77,562 / 694,928 on same weekend. Reached 936K final. Same for NWH will mean 3424K final.
  11. Aquaman did 1.8x of its first FSS after New Year. Now that was bit closer to New Year (4-6 Jan) as compared to NWH. Aquaman had to face huge opening of Dragon Ball Z in next week and then Glass a week next. NWH has only Scream I think. NWH did $60M in TFSS, FSS was mostly $52M. I guess we can do another $100M aka $1554M final or 22M admits.

  14. IDK what you are reading. Someone said that NWH does make IW run look like sort of underwhelming and I just pointed out the big factors that this film has in favour and IW didn't. As simple as that. Sorry for your 2300 students not watching the film, but gotta tell you that we have less than 5% impact from CoVID in India, if at all. A dubbed regular Telugu masala film is doing wonder. If RRR was released, it would have been probably 2nd film ever to do ₹1000cr.
  15. If you remember our discussions before release in AUS thread, we were pointing at A$70M+ just because of XMAS, as even Jumanji 2 did almost A$50M. If it wasn't XMAS I would have expected may be A$50-60M.
  16. NGL. I am being a champion for those two, especially IW. It is easier to overlook what those did in APRIL and come to conclusion that NWH has done better. Except Korea none of the major market has shown CoVID impact and Korea is the one showing it since start itself. There are few smaller markets which have shown higher impact, but it is nowhere close to what the XMAS and that too almost solo release XMAS boost is. Without XMAS we would be looking at roughly 30% lower numbers in most western markets. So what IW did deserve respect, getting 240M admits in WW-C during April is insane.
  17. Avengers: Endgame has nearly 400M tickets sold worldwide. Only one film has sold more tickets than it in last 50 years. i.e. Titanic. It will remain like that most likely with decrease in theater going in time.
  18. I don't know what's the local competition will be but I can see it do better than TFA. TFA had to face competition in Feb, NWH has nothing and so far daily trending has been bit better than TFA. The film is currently 67% of TFA but last week will be 76%, so there's scope for improvement.
