  1. I haven't seen numbers, but won't be surprised with 4.4. 5.4 will be surprising though.
  2. I know we are all joking around and having fun, but if you are being serious, well you had some unrealistic expectations. Slash 1M off this number, and it will still be good.
  3. Without holiday leftovers on Monday, you would have had Monday around 5.25. 5.9 Tuesday is good.
  4. 10M admits in India Jurassic Park ~ 11M Titanic ~ 20M (inc 3D release) Spider-man 3 ~ 10M 2012 ~ 10M Avatar ~ 10M Furious 7 ~ 12M Jurassic World ~ 11M The Jungle Book ~ 19M Avengers: Infinity War - 17.5M Avengers: Endgame - 21.5M The Lion King - 11M Spider-man: No Way Home - 10M Approx so far
  5. Titanic had 19M approx admits in India. Back then we had very little English speaking population, and Hollywood was obscure. Jurassic Park which is more box office friendly could only do 10M+, that too with a dub version. While Titanic initial release was only in English. Now I don't know if its even possible, but considering the growth in English speaking population, and Hollywood becoming more mainstream, may be it would have done 30M admits in India. However like Avatar only had 8-9M admits so donno if it is even possible for Hollywood film to go that high. Back in 90s people watched more movies. Endgame had 21.5M admits here.
  6. Not a direct comparison, but Avatar 1 did 69% of Toy Story 3. That would be 17M admits for Avatar 2 if it do 69% of Toy Story 4. With may be $80 ATP for $1.36B

  10. Mexico population is just 129M. Top films being 20% of population. Mexican do love cinema. Biggest films in US/CAN in last 20 years i.e. TFA and EG at 85M admits are 23% only. Very close despite economy of America being so much better.
  11. Ideally we would be looking at 6.7M closing. but donno how local competition is in coming days. If its weak can do a marathon for 7M may be. The 20th day number are roughly 110% of Aquaman. Aquaman did 430K after that, following that would lead to 450K+. Aquaman had a good Week 4, but dropped badly in Week 5. May be Spider-man can avoid that. @imbruglia? NWH vs Aquaman Week 0 - 1026k vs 278k Week 1 - 2499k vs 2099k Week 2 - 1840k vs 1680k Week 3 - 925k expected vs 676k Week 4 - NA vs 245k Week 5 - NA vs 47k Week 6 - NA vs 6k I hope for 375k Week 4, 190k Week 5 and 100k Week 6. 7-7.1M.

  13. They need to make audience for their films in South East Asia first. Ne Zha type films can do that.
  14. Yeah I have it doing $19M in that weekend. Is Scream opening that much?
