  1. Yes. Should get close to $375mn, depending on how USA does. But since Regal is closing, quite possibly others will follow too, so run may be cut short.
  2. Overseas thinking $11.5-12mn weekend. $263mn by Sunday. Japan is doing really well. Should cross $25mn with ease at this pace.

  4. Another solid weekend. Saturday $1mn. Today perhaps $0.9-1mn. $1.9-2mn weekend, down from $2.35mn last weekend. Total by Sunday $15.75-16mn.
  5. It does not matter what release dates are given by studios, the release calendar is eventually taking the shape as it was in March 2020, just the year will change. Bond in April, Black Widow in May, Wonder Woman in June and so on.

  7. And Homeland has gained #1. National Day Releases + Leap should be able to do ¥5Bn during October. There are few medium films slated, so guess we can hit ¥6-6.5Bn in October, which will be 22-25% down from last year, unless something breakout.
  8. If all goes well, will see it before end of this month. Theatres will open in most of India on 15th, but not in Maharashtra and Delhi, which is equivalent of California and New York.

  10. Jiang Ziya WOM seems to be in work. Looks like $50mn OD for now. Homeland will be close. Overall day perhaps 800mn yuan i.e. $117mn approx.
  11. I am thinking $60mn OD for Jiang Ziya and $45-50mn for Homeland. Atleast that will happen? or WoM is too toxic?

  14. One source says they will declare once theaters open. Other said they didn't announced because it was already leaked. Both seems like BS but 2nd is more probable.

  19. Week 25 19-25 September 2020 Movies Blade Runner 2049: This film is a beauty. Liked it much better than the first one. 7/10. Enemy: I thought this is weakest of Denis from the reception, but I absolutely loved it. Second fav after Prisoners. 8/10. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil: Gave it a chance, not unwatchable. 3/10. Psycho: So I started Hitchcock films, this was awesome. Though the final twist was easy to guess due to amount of films made on multiple personality disorder in past, but I am sure, back then it would have been pretty novel. 8/10. TV The Boys S02E06: Yet another downer. This season is going nowhere.
