  1. Lol i remember how Moviepass tried to make Gotti seem like it was a bigger deal than it was, but it was so obvious cause the numbers of reviews and votes on Rotten tomatoe's user was similar to Incredibles 2.
  2. Part of the problem is places like Reddit jump up and down wanting original stuff. When Said original stuff is in theaters? well. Curious to where they were when The Nice Guys was in theaters not being watched.
  3. That or giving stuff like The Lone Ranger a big budget when The Lone Rangers audience is only Baby Boomers.
  4. i personally think avatars that you are sure you seen it before but not sure where is more frustrating than just not knowing at all. It is like searching songs on Youtube for songs that you heard before and thought it was catchy but you vaguely remember parts of the lyrics.
  5. same with @YourMother the Edgelord but his avatar is something i recognize, but i can't put my finger on exactly what. I feel like i seen this character before but not sure where.
  6. Yeah. The Lion King had a 40 million OW. of course the Flintstones was aided by memorial day weekend so there was that.
  7. Both of these movies are Hanna-Barbera movies that did pretty well for the time. The Flintstones did 37 million dollars on its opening weekend while Scooby Doo did made around 53 million as well. Oh and they had both sequels that bombed, but less so with Scooby Doo 2.
  8. If it keeps on beating Charlie's Estimates then i think it can be guareenteed. it is now apperently 32/32.5 I never understood the gloom and doom surrounding Aladdin on how it will fail. Speaking of Doom, How is Detective Pikachu doing?
  9. 80-85 million with a possible 110 4-day OW. This movie should do better than the early Friday estimate Charlie gave out.
  10. Armaggedon is on that list on highest grossing Japanese movies? whaa
  11. If true then it is weird how John Wick is estimated to drop like a rock. It isn't like it shares the same demo with Aladdin.
  12. So Aladdin is going exactly how i believed it would go. A movie that is benefiting from Nostalgia that Dumbo didn't have, audiences like it more than critics, and it is much more energetic than Dumbo. Would be funny if Aladdin made more in memorial day than Dumbo did in its entire domestic run.
  13. At least it seems to be out of the way of competitors that would have surely taken it out to the cleaners like Star Wars, Jumanji, etc.
  14. Looks like my 100 OW prediction might come true. This movie though i think is going to surprise more. Those 50-60 million predictions seem silly now.
  15. just a question. does mn translate exactly to US dollar? so 28 would exactly be like 28 million?
  16. So it seems like we have another Critics/Audience divide again. Though i wonder how much the positive rating is due to the nostalgia of the original itself leaking over to the remake itself.
  17. Got back from it. As someone who hated Beauty and the Beast, it wasn't too bad. I did not hate this movie like i thought i would. I think it is a solid enough movie. Big Willie steals the show though but the lead wasn't too bad either. Jarfar is the one major problem though. This guy looks and sounds like a wimp and a few of the setpieces obviously pale in comparison to the original. Animation can get away with alot more than what Live Action can do. But eh i give it a 6.5-7 which is the range i think previews will go. If not an 8
  18. Spoilers: When Gordan Ramsay tries out the food in Kitchen Nightmares, it is always bad.
