At Cinemark presales for today are half yesterday. Yesterday was also ridiculously presale heavy though so idk how to interpret that -
I think it can beat that as this Tuesday was a pure weekday (no holiday boost) compared to comps which opened on the 3rd, plus who knows how much was lost in discounts.

Yeah it's still a weekday so I doubt there would be good comps for today either. Tbh I am ok with yesterday's number as long as the hold today and tomorrow is good.

Really excellent. Could have used a bit more illusions and less drones in the climax but otherwise very, very good. Top tier MCU for me, I also thought the teen comedy parts were very well done.

Yeah I do have a feeling that deadline and thr may be underestimating evening shows sure to a Tuesday opening but it's hard to say. Wish Pulse was there which would have allowed us to see the trend.

Yeah there have been enough reports of discount shows that I think it will have some effect. Tbh anything above 40 million pure Tuesday is fine by me

TASM true Tuesday was 27.5 due to 7.5 million midnights. The calendar configuration is pretty favorable, I don't think it will drop 30% even from the midnight boosted number as July 3 is basically like a Friday.

What's wrong with hoping for high numbers? I'd be fine with Captain Marvel DOM/WW but from the way its performing it does seem like it can go significantly higher than that (especially WW).

Yeah TS4 had a really weird pattern on Pulse. It did ridiculous numbers and pace in the morning and then slowed down really quickly in the afternoon.

He said 38-40 for pure Friday, actuals were 36. For CM he said 40-43 and actuals were 41, those are the two I remember off the top of my head. Obviously not perfect (how could it be?) but in the ballpark.

That's almost +50% over Homecoming! If (big if obviously) similar bumps occurred across the world and then accounting for the mega bump in China, it could go over Black Panther. -
Historical comps based on presales probably. He is usually pretty accurate with these early projections.

CGV presales for Wednesday are 92k, down 36% from yesterday. -

Yeah it's just a question of taking the time to adjust the code for the way the chain's website is set up. Right now I don't have the time to do that but I may in the future.
