  1. This is the main reason behind everything most of the women have to suffer in this industry. Please stop thinking like this. This is coming from a person who is moderate at best.
  2. It certainly feels like horror. That masturbation scene was horrifying. Seeing Dafoe in that attire shocked me to core.
  3. Martin movies seriously lack women. I wonder when he writes movies does he never think about a good role for women. It's really weird. And please don't come with argument that he is an artist blah.blah.. In my opinion representation and art goes hand in hand. I can understand in one movie. Most of the Martin movies lacks strong female characters. Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson both are also artist but they have also given strong female characters in many movies. I mean how insensitive you have to be to women to forget they exist while writing screenplays.
  4. Lighthouse is not good. I love Hereditary and Midsommar. Maybe I am not intellectual enough to understand shit in Lighthouse. Horror movies are some of the best movies ever made in my opinion.
  5. In the end these movies are for box office. Beside, BOP reviews are average just like Captain Marvel. Nothing extraordinary.
  6. In short don't pay much attention to early reactions. BOP and Godzilla 2 are the recent example from WB which were hailed as masterpiece after the early reaction. In the end both underperformed/flopped.
  7. Ironically this year Disney has some of the best project lined up. Many original and adapted non-franchise movie. The Women In the Window French Dispatch Onward Soul Last Duel Deep Water Raya Better than almost every studio this year.
  8. Heard the same praise for Godzilla 2. We all know how that ended.
  9. Most of these are hypocrites. They act like Disney is evil and other studios are best. They attack on Disney the evil corporation through their IPhone.
  10. The weirdest thing is we will not see Captain Marvel and Black Panther till 2022. Did it ever happen before? BP and CM are said to be the main characters of MCU and we will have to wait for such a long time. I hope they have a cameo in upcoming movies.
  11. Heard lot of things about the movie. Don't know how much is true. Some are saying this is Mini Avengers movie like Civil War. Some are saying Hulkling will debut in this movie.
  12. It's very rare. We say that for every movie that's below expectations. Same thing was said for Shazam and Alita . I didn't see there post theatrical life being good. There are lots of option for people to watch.
  13. I don't think they even care about this movie. Beside there is nothing woke or broke about this movie.
  14. This movie is going to have fantastic reviews for a horror movie. 85%+ on RT incoming. This will help this movie a lot. I wouldn't be surprised with a 30m+ OW. Horror movies always have a great chance of breakout specially when they have great reviews.
  15. Dolittle is a flop. No spin can save that movie.
  16. The only saviour in 2020 is Domestic market. Most of the big Overseas markets are pretty much dead for movies box office because of Cronavirus. I wonder what will happen to big budget movies. Tenet, Fast and Furious, Black Widow, Wonder Woman and Jungle Cruise all in big danger. Mulan and No time to Die already dead in many markets. Can Domestic market save these movies? HBO Max, Netflix and Disney Plus will also affect already dreary market.
  17. No way to spin this. Hype is very low for Pixar movie + reviews are mediocre for a pixar movie. Pixar movies don't usually need fan screening to build up wom. Pixar is counterpart to Marvel Studios. Not very good at all.
  18. He is talking about Mulan. @lorddemaxus I also think both Mulan and Onward are in big danger. Mulan is bombing big time. 200m budget and 120m+ marketing budget without China, SK and many other Asian markets. This is going to be the second biggest bomb of the year. Onward is gonna underperform. More in line with Good Dinosaur. Back to back bombs for Disney in 2020. Call of the wild, Onward and Mulan.
