On years end domestic grossing list, it might take 12 spots until we get an original film this year
Batman
DS2
Thor 4
JWD
Minions
TGM
Sonic 2
Avatar 2
BP2
Shazam 2
Puss in Boots: TLW
Maybe even lower if Black Adam breaks out
So what was the reason for not allowing reviews for Nope until day before previews when its got good reviews (great on MC)? Not even Marvel opens it that late
If you are gonna drop $200 million on a movie then a 45 day theatrical release should go along with it, i genuinely cannot imagine Gray Man is getting Netflix any subscription increases of any significance
Minions expectations were not that high, its outperformed what we expected, Thor was expected to do considerably better than Ragnarok since you know its been 5 years and Thor got much more popular with IW/EG and it has an empty summer to play with it
Avatar added 143m not including the re-release later in the year after its 7th thursday, TGM only needs to add 94m to get to 700m and there's no tentpole releasing for the next couple months
