  3. saw Wonder Woman last night with a friend and we both liked it. She never saw one trailer or read anything about it so she didn't even know it was in the past So she got to really go in blind with no information. I liked it as well. I thought they did a good job. I won't say much else in this thread, but Gal was very good so hopefully that drops the whole idea of she can't act. She definitely pulled it off. as for Friday's number, I think that is really good for WW so can't wait to see how Saturday goes
  4. nah, Titanic's run was much more interesting, impressive and fun and THAT record fell. So in time so will Avatar's. Just the nature of the beast
  5. not even close to a lock. Now can it make $100m, of course, but nothing is locked at the moment from just the preview number
  6. I always had it around that number so that works for me. But still wouldn't be surprised if it got higher though
  7. $11m previews is a pretty good number, I must say I'm guessing that means it will go over that $65 mil for the weekend predict
  8. yep and it's only 9:07 est so this has nowhere to go but down until the numbers show up
  9. I just got to the Derry Second interlude part of the book where Hanlon is contacting the police about every missing child/teenager. I only read a few pages in as the lighting and my eyes weren't working well together but yeah that's past where Stan tells his story, Bev sees the blood and then uses the tape measure down the toilet, etc, etc. Pretty awesome stuff. I don't know if I'm just engrossed into the story or if the way the book is printed but I am reading pretty quickly, it seems. It could be both but it feels like I am reading a lot at once. I'm probably a good 45% in I think at this point
  10. oh yeah, then I would wait the 45 minutes too. Not even a question about that
  11. yeah the only time I do that close to the front any more is if they are recliners. It doesn't help 100% but it's still much better than the normal seats
  12. of course they should feel shame. or I'll put it this way if they undershoot the estimates: You do that, you go to the box, you know. Two minutes, by yourself, you know and you feel shame, you know. And then you get free.
  13. I'll definitely let you know what I think whenever I get a chance to see it. Just don't know when that would be
  14. funny enough, I still haven't seen the Babadook if it shows up on my on demand or something, I may catch it. Otherwise, it will just have to wait longer
  15. someone is not going to be happy about the names not lining up with the pictures again
  16. and it seems pretty good to me. I mostly know the story but I will probably wait to see the movie to look up any info to try to remember what I actually know
  17. the run time seems too short. I was hoping for at least Titanic length
