    Yeah movies are too long and people are getting sick of it. That's why Avatar:WOW, John Wick Chpt4, and Guardians 3 bombed. Oh wait no they didn't. Maybe length is not the issue maybe it is how the length is used. A 3 hour movie can feel like 90 minutes and a 90 minute movie can feel like 3 hours.

    If those numbers are close this does not look like it will be a Flash like complete implosion. Not great but could be much worst.

    Deadline, so take with a grain of salt of course, is saying 24 for friday, so backing out 7.2 previews true friday is 16.8.

    Denver look great for MI, Orlando looks not so great. Maybe some areas are just more interested than others.

    Also the Weekend IM should be good with it being a extended holiday for a lot of people and if WOM is good with the regular folk. The people outside the Metros who don't live their life online.

    This is awesome. Hope people get the message. You can see multiple movies of different genres and not make it tribal.

    Talking about its box office. This will have a much better internal weekend mulitlpier. And the Flash cost way more than WB's BS official numbers.

    One positive we can say about this summer's movies so far is the movies with good or great WOM have had legs. Guardians 3, ASTV, and Elemental. The movies with decent wom have done okay-Little Mermaid and Transformers and the movies with mediorce or poor wom have dropped fast-Flash and Fast 10. If Indy has good wom it will have decent legs not enough to save it but still. Mission will be fine its got 10 full days to build off good to great Wom until barbnheimer hits and should recover and coexist with two movies after that weekend.

    Maggie were you following Box office when Rogue Nation came out? It was tracking to do about 40 million in its opening weekend. It's previews were 4.1m. Ir ended up doing 55 million that weekend. That was a IM of 13.Fallout only 6 in its previews. 61 for the weekend. 10 IM. This is what these movies do.

    Plus Mission has lots more going for it in order to improve in these next two weeks Indy sh-t the bed from the get go and was never able to recover from that.

    Considering the doom and gloom that has been going on already would be not be too bad and with good WOM and a holiday weekend IM 60 would be the floor I think. Massive disappointment yes but no Flash that is for sure.

    I mean we or one person mostly are already burying Mission because Indy is doing exactly how most expected it too based on a botched rollout and mixed reviews something Mission does not have to worry about. This place never fails to disappoint.

    MI DR is tracking to do 65 over 3 days and 90 over 5 +days how is that bad? I know this your shtick but come on.

    Yeah I think the marketing has not been the best for this, Fallout's marketing was hard to top. Cavill reloading his arms alone helped that movie. It just seems this movie is a harder movie to sell on trailers and tv spots alone. Thankfully the movie sounds like it delivers and reviews and early WOM should help it.

    That's all I care about right now. That it is well liked by moviegoers overall and I that I and my friends I go with enjoy it.
