DR Part 2 is scheduled for June 28th right now. It's safe to say they are going to make sure they have a lockdown on IMAX for at least two weeks this time.

It is what it is for these movies. Neither franchise is damaged by the Box office performances. This was going to be the last Harrison Ford Indiana Jones anyway and we are still getting DR Part 2 with a better release date and better marketing hopefully.

Yep it just gives the people who do not like this franchise for whatever reason a excuse to come on this thread and comment. Ignoring all the obstacles that there were thrown in this movie's way to perform at it's best. This series could have ended after 3 easily. Thank god they kept going and we got some of the best action movies of the last 10+ years.

If, fingers crossed, the strikes are over by fall, even by early next year, they can still have it stick it to the June 28th date . Bad Boys 4 comes out on the 14th and Decspicable Me 4 is scheduled for July 3rd.

The fact that Mission is only going to do slightly more than NTTD domestically tells you how much Par blew it. And I am a NTTD lover and defender but Mission should have cakewalked to 200 at least.

Went and saw this a second time yesterday. Still really enjoyed. My only problem yes it could have been like 20 minutes shorter. It does drag a little in the middle but once it hits the time travel Syracuse section it just flies. I just love everything from that point on. I think the WOM is better for this than a lot of people think. It's going to get pretty close to 3 times its opening weekend which is not nothing anymore. Watched CA:WS again last night for the 9 or 10th time at least. Still my number one MCU movie. Still have not tired of that movie one bit. Comparing the Practical action to the CGI sludge of something like Quantanmania is just Yeah. Or comparing how well the movie lands compared to how badly Secret Invasion missed the mark.

And they have worked under a compressed schedule before. Rogue Nation got moved up from Dec to July 2015 to avoid The Force Awakens and they still were still trying to figure out the ending of the movie at that time.
