  1. Clooney, Dujurdin, Fass and Pitt = locked.
  2. he should do well with Online Crix (duh!) and Phoenix crix who awarded LOTR 3 years in a row and gave him BSA for TTT.
  3. I`ve no clue what Win Win is but ANDY SERKIS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Ovehyped but looks 100% generic. What`s not to hate?
  5. Washington Crix have just posted their noms and if the trend continues, Clooney, Fass, Pitt and DuJurdin(sp?) are our locked 4 with undecided 5th spot in BA and Meryl, Michelle, Viola and Tilda out Top 4 BA with undecided 5th spot. But, than, this is just crix and AMPAS tatse may not go with them all the way. 6. Nope, sorry. It has to fend off holdover Skyfall and women do watch Bond so after the intitial OMG Out of This World opening repeat business may spread between different movies. Also, don`t forget that Jakesmee isn`t as popular as Bedward. Plus, Gravity a week later, Les Mis on Dec 7 and TH:AUJ on 14th. It`s much tougher competition than BD1 had and BD1 also had the part of the book fans were more interested to see. Nevertheless, it`s gonna win November and pass TA.
  7. You people just don`t understand Twihards. Unlike Potheads who are the most highmaintenance fans out there, Twihards are just happy to see Edward and Bella smooch and Jacob flash his abs. So you give them that, they`ll flock to the movie kazillions of times. hence BD`1s great hold. Try the trick with Ringers, Potheads and Star Wars fans and see what happens. Or don`t considering the budget of those movies.
  8. Ha,ha,ha,ha, I was right about $17 mio when stupid Variety posted $14-15 mio, lol! Passing DH1 is a lock, sorry Noctis, love ya but lets get real. You`ll get retaliation next year cause no way BD2 passes DH2. Not with the competition like 2012`s and no 3D though I doubt 3D would have pushed it over either. The comptition is just mindblowing as is the whole 2012. But it`ll pass Bond and TA. Anyway, $296 mio is a big reality and $300 mio is still an achievable goal for BD1.
  9. Can`t Mulligan sneak in for Shame? Over Chastain (who splits votes because different studios campaign her for different movies)?
  10. So far, his new approach to his career is the most original Hollywood ever seen - losing weight! OMG, who could ever think of that? especially in Hollywood? Such novelty to have a skinny actor or actress in the movie. That`ll so make him stand out.
  11. Not a fan of animated movies so yeah, kiddie shit all the way except Sleeping Beauty. It had a chick turn into a fuckin dragon. Most feminist statement ever committed on the screen. definitely not kiddie shit or shit for the matter.
  12. Jonah Hill was excellent in Moneyball. Too bad he`s following that up with The Sitter.
  13. SH 2 is hardly a must-see. Now competition next year is something that BD2 will have tough time with cause 2012 is shaping up to be spectacular. But my Over Bond Over TA Club will succeed!
  14. And sex-starved moms, obese highschool vigins and baumer are gonna flock to Alvin? I don`t think so.Re:Twihead. not bloody likely. I haven`t even bothered with BD cause that book does not exist for me but credit where credit is due. It`s playing like gangbusters with above mentioned 3 major demographics and I don`t see why it wouldn`t continue to chug along until it reaches $300 mio or at least pass DH1 and NM WITHOUT Imax help. I`m just realistic. I`m by no means a TFhead either but I called a billion for TF3 and was right.
  15. I`m more and more convinced that Viggo is in. He`s campaigning heavily according to AD fucks, he`s playing a famous person and KK`s laughable performance (not kidding, people are actually reportedly laughing during her scenes) could make voters appreciate subtlety more. I mean, I know that AMPAS is firmly in histrionics camp but KK is way OTT even for that taste. Anyway, the fact that he is capaigning is the most important coupled with famous person can`t-miss scenario. So Plummer, Kingsley, Brooks, Mortensen and one other,. Branagh or Von Sidow.
  16. :rolleyes:Only you are shocked. I was predicting great hold due to wedding and sex shit and you asked me what I was smoking? Who`s a pothead now? Oh, wait, you`ve always been one, with capital P.
  17. BD1 isn`t just hititng $16 mio for the weekend. It`s hitting closer to $17 mio. Now I hope it can actually reach that one with a good jump today and lower drop on Sunday. But either way, legs are better than New Moon`s, it`s catching up very well, nothing of note opens until 21st, and holiday season should be kind to holdovers. $300 m io isn`t dead and passing NM and DH1 is locked. Keep not believing if it suits you but you`ll see.
  18. Clooney and DuJourdin(sp?) are locked. Fass is gaining ground. 2 spots up for grabs. Pitt seems stable at the moment. I expect they sneak Oldman in who is guaranteed to get GG and BAFTA love. Leo is the weakest here because of movie reception.
  19. Awesome noms - Serkis, Farrell, Fanning. People who were great but won`t get other noms for shit.
