I finally saw this and loved it. Very beautiful, charming film. The acting and directing are top notch and overall I'd place this film as my favorite of the year, very narrowly edging past Midnight in Paris. 9.3 out of 10.

Two Face, easily.

Favorite - Batman Begins, which slightly edges past TDK and B89. The focus on Bruce Wayne makes this my favorite. Best - Batman Begins.

Honestly, if the 10 nominee rule still applied to the Oscars, I'd feel DH2 should be in there somewhere around 8th place. However, considering this new rule, I highly doubt it will be nominated. It is the best of the wide summer releases though.Also, TF3 being much better than DH2 in any category aside from perhaps being a bit better on the technical level is laughable. It is, in fact, much, much worst.

Easily TF2, such an incredibly terrible film.

Not particularly, that can easily be remedied with ADR, and probably will be. Also, this might not pertain to the rest of the film, considering the noise from the plane in the prologue could be one of the reasons his dialogue isn't entirely understandable.

That's the scene that has me excited the most. By all accounts, it sounds like truly haunting imagery.

Agreed, the characteristics and mannerisms Ledger portrayed as the Joker are considerably better than much of what Nicholson attempted. Ledger's Joker, for the most part, is always how I felt it should be played, considering it was quite a bit more synonymous with the version of the Joker in The Killing Joke and several other darker versions throughout the years. Nicholson was a good Joker, but he too often came off as Nicholson with makeup, rather than a true portrayal of the Joker. And yes, Nicholson's Joker voice doesn't even compare in terms of quality to Ledger's and Hamill's.

I prefer Keaton as Batman by a small margin, but Bale is easily the best Bruce Wayne.
