I have an issue with all the slasher flicks you just described: what's wrong with drinking, having fun, fooling around in your bedroom with your loved ones? People do it every weekend around the world. I thought Prometheus will be different. But after the 2 leads have sex (and presumably Idris & Charlize fooled around too, not to mention the almost-gay couple of Fifield & Milburn), all hell breaks loose.

I want to reserve judgement but usually Scott's movies are trailer-magnets. Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, Hannibal even the mediocre Prometheus & Robin Hood - all have rousing trailers I share your sentiment: I can't believe Ridley Scott directed this. Wait for the Final Trailer?
