  2. Weekend Results 6th - 8th May 2016 : CJohn wins the Civil War. @CJohn Took the weekend thanks completely to Captain America Civil War. He led with over 182m for the weekend, not quite the record some expected. @grey ghost jumped into 2nd spot with 153m. @BourneFan #1 took out 3rd spot with 113m while @Simionski made off with 103m. Not suprisingly the top 4 this week all had investments in Civil War. the highest place who did not have an investment in Civil War was @Wrath who slipped from 1st to 5th this weekend and made 34m. Wrath continues to be the only investor who is under restrictions. His % is still over 500% but i expected that start to reduce fairly quickly in the coming weeks with him potentially being able to invest in 2 to 3 weeks time. This will unfortunately exclude him from investing in Finding Dory (assuming it's fully invested in by then). I should note, he shouldn't be too upset given he currently leads overall revenue quite convincingly. but he should warned, CJohn is coming........ 13. Settle Down, I hadn't adjudicated it yet! (see above post) raging much...
  14. your correct in that you bought at the same time. while i won't be changing that investment (Civil War) as i shouldn't, i should note that the investment time was incorrect for Civil War also. if you look at other investments they started that hour later. (I honestly missed it back then - no ones perfect) I know it makes a mess of the game but by the rules i should i be rejecting... since i had accepted the investments for Civil War I can see your point. for this reason i'm making a special case of The Conjuring 2: Everyone listed below gets their slice this time. I won't do this again. Get your investment times correct! We now know the correct time. I had made it clear previously. EST is the game time NOT EDT!. @CJohn - 100% @grey ghost - 90% @DAJK - 60% @BourneFan #1 - 75% @chasmmi - 100% @lucasbenica - 100% This is the only time i will grant this due to the confusion. going forward however, I will be a hardass nazi..... otherwise it's not fair on those who invest at the correct time! (yes i know, it's @ 550% ... now for the conjuring 2 to earn like 15m at the box office and flop badly... and all will be well! )
  15. To make this clear we r running on GMT-5hrs. NO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS. makes the time of this post 8pm on the 9th may! EDIT - well 8.10pm to be exact.
  16. To be honest, it's a disappointing hold for Civil War. I had hoped for a stronger hold. Still on it's way to a 35m total here. Hold was very similar to Iron Man 3 which continues to hold a 3m lead at the same point. IM3 went onto 39m, hence why i think a total around 35m to 36m seems likely here. and yeah while i said disappointing, it's already become the biggest Captain America film here (which was always going to happen). That BN2 opening isn't very strong... but then what was anyone reallly expecting ? I little desire to see the film .... still under 2.5m opening which is less than the first films previews is not a good sign. Mothers day had a nice uptick (probably all on MD itself)... expecting a scary drop next week without it's namesake giving a boost... TJB continues it's will it, won't it dance with 30m... at this point i'm thinking it will wind up short around the 29m mark. Without a push, i think thats where it ends. Especially given Angry birds arrives soon amongst other films of course. Zootopia looks like it will end just shy of 28m. And after ONLY 6 weeks, BVS has exited the top 20. That has to be one of the fastest exits for a film that opened above 10m!
  17. so around 180m seems to be where it will land..... I new I should have let myself get carried away... my original predict before i got caught up in all the crazy stuff a few weeks back was 184m. I let my heart get the better of my head... i so wanted it make 200m+... wasn't to be... Still a fantastic result Come on... lets see a 55m+ sunday (stuff history - history was made to be broken!)

  20. Dissappointed at the number. But it's still great and tbh after the AUS opening, it should have been expected. Still 180m+ is likely and 200m, while a long shot is still on the table thanks to Mother's Day. Still i I think it will be stronger than ultron through the weekend and head for about 195 now (about 20m less than I predicted. )
  21. Let's wait for a better source first. But very disappointing if true hoping Dylan is better soon.
  22. I'll take last 10% of the nice guys
