  3. oh and still reviewing.. further minor issues : @Infernus Part F Total Grosses are not answered. (given you''ve already edited since the first deadline....) @firedeep - You didn't answer the 30 Questions by yours truely (not sure if you tried to answer week 0 though)
  4. I'll try and complete going through the list tomorrow night... yes i've already started compiling my super spreadsheet First 4 entries: @chasmmi~ you haven't edited as yet, i assume you will be, you didn't put an answer down for Preseason Q17. @WrathOfHan ~ you have edited, so Chas, ignore any week 0 question he might have answered. ALSO - you need to put down GROSSES for Worldwide Weekends top 5 (you haven't a gross down as yet and will lose out unless you enter something. @Wrath ~ ALL GOOD from what i can tell (and I think your ok for the Week 0 questions unless you change your mind) @The Panda Knight ~ also ALL good. As per Wrath if you answered week 0 they will count unless you edit before the thread is locked. I'll continue to review in case something else is missing...
  5. Weekend Results 29th April - 1st May : Wrath grips on for 1 more round as the Civil War approaches..... As expected, @Wrath held on for the 3rd weekend running with a another 64.9m. In fact to be honest the top 5 did not change position. @The Panda Knight hit 44.9m, I managed 26.6m ( @JJ-8), @DAJK pulled down 12.5m while @BourneFan #1 took in 11.6m. Nothing much else to discuss in regards to the weekend chart. Not surprisingly, Wrath also took out the Monthly honours for April with over 420m in the till. He now leads all in revenue with over 1.117B to date. I should note, that he currently cannot invest in any films (wide) until his % drops below 300%, which could take a few more weeks yet. The Panda also slipped into 2nd with 273m. 3rd belonged to @lucasbenica who started the month very strongly but fell away due investment restrictions in the middle of the month. I was in 4th (again) with 163m. and rounding out the 5 was @CJohn Next week, well all i will say expect a record breaking, total flip on it's head chart... I'm not going to review who will lead (and you know you are) but Civil war is indeed ready to hit and it will explode with a massive boom! Here are the 2 charts. 15. I'm not going to keep posting the weekly updates as they aren't changing much any more here... (i am continuing to track however). I will post a final report for January once all movies are closed (only The 5th Wave & Kung Fu Panda 3 continue to be tracked from January)
  16. Strong start for CACW with more than double CATWS on OW. In fact amongst the MCU only AOU and IM 3 had better opening weekends though the avengers isn't a true comparison as it. Opened on the Wednesday (and took in 6 that day). The ow is only just shy of IM3's OW. Though IM3 has 3m head start. IM3 went on to make just shy of 40m. I'd say CW should be targeting a 40m + total with better WOM. oh oh and it out opened BVS. Fairly convincingly in the end. also BVS will now wind up short of 30m after the massive 86% dip it saw this weekend. Which it now becomes the biggest opener not to cross 30m. (I'll check later. ) zootopia will now wind up short of 30m about the 29m at most. TJB could still make 30m but it's a bit shakey after this weeks drop.

  18. Still good. (Yeah just noted bom has us at 4.5m USD after 2 days. So Friday must have been just under 3m. At at a guess the breakdown looks like thurs - 3.05m fri - 2.9m sat - 4m sun - 3.6m to 4m? now the US opening from this. The best example would be AOU which if u include wed night 11.2 x. But that film had Anzac Day making sat massive. now the best multiplier could be found by removing the wed night (CW didn't get that here) also remove about 500k for Anzac Day. Say about 12.6. Lastly a film named captain America gets a small premium. So best case around 13 x. So right now the us opening range is: 152m (13.6 x 11.2) to 182m the outlier of course is TWS multiplier of 14.8 (6.4m vs 95m - including previews) which gives an ow of 207m. I I think in the US based on this will wind up above 180m (but 150m to 160m is in there) still (gonna stick with 215m in the summer game cause I'm crazy)
  19. Oh and for information here is the breakdown from AOU (I just took a look through this thread back around page 295 i believe ) The Avengers :- Wed (Anzac Day) = 6m Thurs = 2.2m Fri = 2.7m Sat = 4.3m Sun = 4m / 13.3m / 19.3m The Avengers AOU :- Wed Night (Previews) = 1.4m Thurs = 2.9m Fri = 3.3m Sat (Anzac Day) = 4.9m Sun = 4.6m / 15.7m / 17.1m For comparison so far we have for CACW: Thurs = 3.05m EDIT - added the avengers breakdown
  20. Not quite true... Queensland has a long weekend this weekend (public holiday on monday ~ labour day because some stupid government thought it fun to put it back into may..... ) oh and Queensland no longer has a long weekend in June I think you will find that multiplier is more like 13 or 14. the 12.3 for AOU for example had the anzac day effect which meant the OW was stronger than normal. how much effect that actually had is a good question but for comparison, CACW OD was bigger than AOU OD and yet we are predicting a smaller weekend due to the same reason. Hence i think if we get a 15m OW here in AUS i'm thinking around a 13.5 (about mid way between AOU and what TWS multipliers were) which gives a US opening of 202m approximately.
  21. Can I ask if you do make an edit after this point, please add a post in that you have made an edit, I'm going start collating data this weekend to get a handle on the spreads so far.
  22. Oh my thinking is : thurs 3.05m fri 3.6m sat 4.8m sun 4.7m weekend = 16.1m am I too optimistic? hell how about 3.05m + 3.2m + 4.5m + 4.3m = 15m
