  1. 1) SW: OT2) Indiana Jones/Nolan's Batman/LOTR5) The Godfather (first 2 are so amazing, makes up for 3)6) Die Hard 1-37) Toy Story8) Alien 1-39) Bourne10) Ocean'sAll other potential ones have glaring flaws...the third Spider-Man, X-Men, BTTF, POTC and Matrix stink, Rocky has too many movies and 5 sucks, TF or SW:PT...naaa I only really like the first and third respectfully...Austin Powers, they're all pretty good, but I don't love any of them/the series.Edit: I just remembered Alien 1-3, Terminator 1-3 and Mission impossible (too bad 4 can't replace 2 then it'd be a great trilogy). Alien 3 and Terminator 3 are again the weak links, but first two are great, especially Alien 1 and 2.

  2. My opinion of TDKR's box office was never low, it was perfectly reasonable. The fact that you think my $450-470m TDKR predictions were low clearly show that you're the one with the unreasonable opinion of its box office run.

Ah, good...now I'll use my post from page 7 you never responded to:You don't know what you're talking about. And I don't know what your predicitons for TDKR were, but I'll assume they were around its current ow and mid 400s finish? Now you made those predictions well before its ow and the shootings...but if someone had asked you a week or so before its release, to give a prediction if say a columbine type shooting occurred during a midnight showing, leaving double digit people dead and being on the news everywhere in the US for weeks, there's no freakin way you would have predicted the same thing- your #s would have been lower. So how the hell can you say a $25m more ow and $50-70m more dom finish definitely wouldn't have happened if the shootings didn't happen! We're not using the shootings as an excuse for the higher predictions, you're ignoring the shootings to justify the lower ones.

  3. It could just be down to the films having no appeal, but something has to be said for August just barely crossing 100m admissions (how it's looking right now). It'll be the worst August in over 15 years.

He'll ignore this and be like uh herp derp it's just how it goes sometimes and some movies just underperform and don't meet expectations and it's not like something else major happened that may have helped cause this uh derrrr.
  4. I've responded to the issue plenty of times. OW was affected, minimal at best after that. Or did you not see how quickly the box office returned to normal after that weekend? So I'm not gonna keep feeding some of these ridiculous posts. Some of you will never admit to being wrong when there's a tragedy up for grabs.

Quickly returned to normal after that weekend?!? What the hell are you talking about?? Actually, that comment makes me done with you, like arguing with BKB, you know you're wrong and are purposely making no sense.

  5. Lol, I'm wrong and can't admit it? I'm not the one using a tragedy to hide behind my predictions that didn't come true. Fucking pathetic.

  6. Oh god not the OS argument again. WHAT PART OF HUGE OS EXPANSION IN THE LAST 4 YEARS DO SOME OF YOU NOT GET! Seriously STOP USING A FUCKING TRAGEDY TO HIDE BEHIND RIDICULOUS EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!! Goddammit this is starting to piss me off.

Yeah, most people get pissed off when they're wrong and can't admit it...and most people are not claiming "ridiculously high expectations" like $600m would have happened...but to say $500m still wouldn't have is a joke and totally wrong.
