  1. A What a great conclusion to one of 80's cinema masterpieces!!
  2. ANothing wrong with this trilogy at all. Each entry is a fun ride!!
  3. CIllusionist was better.Bale, Jackman & Nolan....should've been better.
  4. AWay better than I thought it would be.Saw it twice in the theater.A nice blend of Goonies fun and sci-fi monster films!!
  5. BI really, really like the film but it falls a bit flat with some explanations. Especially Gunner at the end. Can't wait for the sequel next year!!
  6. BBale is great but it's a tad overrated imo.
  7. AIt's the novelty of what it was that remains fun. Sadly it's sequels fall prey to "formula" of that which it mocks.
  8. AI watched this again over 2011 and it holds up remarkably well.
  9. A Eddie Murphy at the peak of his 80's best!! This is right up there with 48hrs and Beverly Hills Cop as his trifecta of 80's films he dominated!!
  10. AA "modern classic" if there is to be a category for such a thing.I too think Stallone is/was underrated for his performance in this movie.
  11. I LOVE Transformers, the first one, it's a solid 'A' grade This one, the first sequel....'D' One of the worst things to happen to Transformers was Fallen.
  12. You didn't see many movies in 2011 then.Don't get me wrong, its got problems but don't be over the top. It's a C movie but I gave it a B cause all the Kato sequences are top notch!!
  13. B A better film than the last for sure and a valiant attempt to return to form of Pearl.
  14. AThere are 11 A votes!!Love that this site seems to have weeded out the "fly by 'F'" votes we had to endure on BOM!!
  15. BIt's still very good but the film really does draw out the "origin" and backstory too much for my liking. I still own it but it's overrated to some degree imo.
  16. AMy Holiday movie choices have thus far been a hat trick of success.I did think the bromance was a tad overplayed and heavy handed during the first act. However, once Moriarity really steps up his plan in Act II the movie returns much more form. So that if you enjoyed the first you should like this film as well.
  17. ANever read the book. Didn't see the Swedish adaptions.Thought it took a bit long to get Michael and Lisbeth together. After that it really picked up.Very intense. The best "Adult Thriller" I've seen in some time. A couple two rows in front of me left during the 2-3 min violation scene. I admit it was graphic and I kept waiting for a cut away but they didn't.I also figured out part of the Harriet mystery.I'm sure the 15min epilogue of Lisbeth going all blonde bombshell embezzler plays into the next movie but it felt unneeded to a large degree.
  18. AMay be the second best movie in the series. The Dubai hotel sequence was great in IMAX!!Hope that a fifth does indeed happen with Luthor back in an active capacity. We can take him not being in it as he wasn't part of the rescue team and thus not able to be in the loop for Hunt due to being disavowed and in hiding or laying low.
  19. I don't know that I'd call it depressing. I never read the books or saw the other adaptions. I went in blind and enjoyed it even if it took over an hour to really get all the pieces flowing in the right direction.I would call it a Adult Thriller.
  20. I just didn't see anybody crying out for this movie. Not too unlike KFP2.
  21. I wouldn't count on that yet. The hype is there for it as much as any other blockbuster.I know I'm more stoked for it than TDKR or TAS or MOS
  22. Captain Craig has arrived and sees many familiar usernames!! Hail, hail the gangs all here...or getting here. I'm a bit late it seems.I got to say $70m is a strong opening. I thought it possible we could see Twilight fatigue.
