Next segment on Morning Joe on MSNBC this morning is about marvel's dominance at the box office being over. Last time I remember this channel mentioning marvel was when Black Panther came out. Edited to add, they went in on Disney buying up IPs and mismanaging them. Said that Star Wars has been mismanaged, Indiana Jones was a flop and 61 percent is not a good RT score. Joe Scarborough also said that maybe marvel can't be a hit maker without RDJ. The financial analyst countered that it can be done but they actually have to make good movies

Loki is hands down the best mcu series and thats not recency bias. I thought it was top 3 earlier this year when people were lumping it in with the likes of she-hulk and falcon but now I'm sure of it that its the best show since it had a better ending than Wandavision.

I was just on a marvel group on Facebook and this has to be the worst take I’ve read all weekend: “Box office Grossings does not = quality. Top Gun 2 was one of the highest grossings of 2022. That film was predictable af. The Marvels is a decent flick despite it's modest grossings. If you judge a film based on it's grossings, that is very sad.”

So when the movie started I was asking myself how were the kree breathing on that moon like planet but i hand waved it off but then they burst through the glass on that ship thing and monica and then carol both flew through the open window but Kamala was still there breathing and I thought maybe I'm wrong, maybe theres something I missed and then they showed Carol fly back into the ship through basically a open window from space and Kamala was still there somehow breathing. They weren't on a planet right, that was a ship, yes? Somebody make it make sense please.

I saw it. My sister liked it. I found some stuff in the movie logic baffling and some of the fight scenes were filmed very amateurish and a lot of the dialogue was awful or I couldn’t even hear it but overall it wasn’t the worst super hero movie I’ve seen.

Wakanda Forever was not hated.
