Gosling??? Or is he not kiddish enough? I like him as an actor and Drive showed he could kick ass believably. He could bring a seriousness to the character much like he did with Driver... kinda like a Robin that is screwed up emotionally and mentally and is always consumed by his issues rather than the joking stupid silly kid we've always seen.
My sig is the quote Dexter posted. Love this line. It's delivery, the wording is perfect, the tone, music playing while he said it... everything made it the most memorable quote for me.
Audience erupted in clapping when Batman drove the Batpod up the wall and turned to face the flipped semi that Joker was in. For some reason, the Batpod briefly driving up the wall and coming back down, did it for everyone in my theatre. There was clapping in The Help. Can't remember the exact scene. I think it was when one of the ladies that was part of the Help got revenge on the mean chick. I think it was during the story telling of her eating her poo. When I saw Drive, lots and lots of clapping during credits, but there was only like 9 people in there. Apparently it impressed us all.
If there was ever a movie to win BP, this should have been it. WALL E was exceptional. I fear that Pixar will never be able to revisit the magic they created with WALL E, although Up and Toy Story 3 were incredible as well.
Goodfellas. Best film of all time.Films that contend for that tile in my opinion are:Godfather Part IIRequiem for a DreamThe Dark KnightThe Shawshank Redemption
Hey Baumer, completely unrelated topic here, but your postcount is underwhelming. LOL. I know that sounds odd, but whats with the low number. Have you just been busy, are you not as passionate? Honestly, I expected to see you up there with Impact and Fake. Just a random thought that really doesn't warrant an answer.
Gotcha. Didn't know about those drawings/models. That's awesome. I'm just super excited that we get to have another ORIGINAL Pixar film. I can't wait to catch this during the holidays.
“The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs“. Here is the official plot synopsis from Disney:
What if that life-changing asteroid missed Earth? Director Bob Peterson’s hilarious tale depicts a world where dinosaurs never went extinct. The great thing about this project is its release date. We haven't had a Pixar film for the holidays in quite some time, which I think is going to be a real treat. Couple that with the dinosaur theme which has proven to be a well loved and well received subject, along with the good will that Monsters Univeristy will have likely built up during the summer of this same year, and I think we've got a hit.
Question is.. will Pixar really be able to release this in 2 years? Doesn't that seem a bit rushed for Pixar?
Started to seriously follow it around TDK's release. Before that, I'd check in on BOM from time to time because movie grosses interested me. TDK really got me into it. Its OW did it for me.
