It's also because superhero franchises are some of the biggest franchises out there right now. It's only when a movie explodes or is anticipated fiercely when merchandise related to it sells. I doubt Green Lantern and John Carter memorabilia ever flew off shelves.
^Did they ever say PotC 3 will be the end? I mean, the Fountain of Youth was referenced right there in AWE. And I would be cool with a 20 year gap between now and TH4 like Indy 3 and 4.
Stan Lee is the best thing that happened to the WORLD! May he live another 100 years for the enjoyment of future generations to come and may he have a million movie cameos!
Amazing concept and the movie has an amazing trinity of my favorite critically acclaimed actresses- Tilda, Octavia and Alison. I hope this gets a date soon.
The whole "Is Spidey Freak iJack?" thing so damn ridiculous that I have never really bothered to pay any serious attention to it. I am my own person and if you can't see that, then that's not my problem, sorry.
This whole May schedule is a goddamn mess. Studios should have learned a lesson from overcrowded 2007 May and the fates of Dark Shadows and Battleship last year. If FF6 and TH3 do underperform next week then I am guessing we will never see such a crowded schedule ever again in the near future.
