I like Brad Bird so I have high hopes for that one. But yeah, still not justified with budget in the range of 200-300M. Not to mention the marketing cost, which didn't do anything good towards JC and TLR. The marketing for JC probably even harmed it, lol.

It will do good for them to stop throwing enormous amount of money at movies like TLR or John Carter though.

Yeah, probably. Especially the teenagers. The only one I like out of those is Michael B. Jordan. Haven't seen a trailer yet.

I saw posters for That Awkward Moment starring Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan, and Miles Teller at theaters recently. And noticed that it'll be released end of January. Do we have a thread for that movie here?

The Bourne trilogy is better than any recent Bond films. Yes, even Casino Royale. And better than most Bond films not named From Russia with Love or Goldfinger.

podo, how high do you think The Attorney will go? It shows no signs of stopping so far and seems like WOM is very good. It should get another big boost next week due to New Year Day too. Any big competitions coming up?

Definitely has a chance. Big one at that, especially with inclusion of 3D. In terms of tickets sold though, I don't think we'll see any animations getting that far anytime soon.

Looking at it, Shrek 2's gross is really astonishing. 441M, without 3D, and in 2004 no less. Gonna be a while till we see another animated movie get pass that. Maybe a long while.
