    Pretty bad legs of 2.5x already get it to 950M OS minus China and Russia. China+Russia worst case would be 300M. That’s 1.25B right there. And with how the weekend holds been shaping up over in the domestic market, can’t really see it missing 600M Dom either. So 1.85B+ in my opinion. 2B will be up to China.

    A $260M OW should lock up $600M cause even CW legs get it around there. And with the next two weekends a complete dead zone at BO, can’t really see worse leg than CW.

    The Force Awakens with 60.5M Black Panther came really close with its 60M. The Avengers gonna be avenging that now lol.

    America also doesn’t have International Women day, and it’s like the only country in the world that doesn’t celebrate Labor Day on May 1st. We’re no fun lol. Asian countries have a lot of interesting Holidays that celebrate the culture (though I guess US does too but they make it a month ala Black History month instead) and individuals.

    Also gotta take into account that it opened on Wed/Thu in a lot of countries, so the true weekend FSS gross is actually 285M. In that case, a 200M second weekend is just impossible. That should make us all feel better On that note, I’m thinking around 120M for upcoming weekdays Mon-Thu (with Tuesday approaching $50M by itself), so a weekend of 130M would not be too far-fetched I think, which makes it a cool 54% fall.

    With that big an opening, and Labor Day pulling in even more business for upcoming weekdays, I’m thinking 55% drop minimum for second weekend. Heck, 55% would be an incredible drop.

    I’m very okay with Paul Rudd and Michael Pena just chilling and do whatever they do in the Ant-Man films, regardless of whether the universe around them is ending/collapsing or not.

    Totally forgot about that movie. But wasn’t it supposed to come out this year?

    They seem really set on having Capt. Marvel releasing around International Women Day (which makes sense), and that is March 8th. Don’t think there’s anyway they move up US release date, Marvel likes to keep either day-to-date or OS before US pattern.

    Sounds about good. Could be more depends on weekday drops. Poorer weekdays I think will be compensated by weekend. 425M+ by end of next weekend.

    I’m thinking 57-60% drop for second weekend. Weekday drops will be pretty brutal considering schools are in sessions. But like any MCU before, it’ll recover over the weekend.

    So even if it just matches Ultron for 2nd weekend, should be close to 8M admissions by next Sun. 11M stands a real good chance.

    And they’re still overestimate the Sunday drop. -44.5%? Really now Disney? I think actuals gonna show flat to increase from last weekend

    The Avengers pulled in $41M OS for Labor Day/May Day 6 years ago. Even with worse ER, can’t imagine IW falling below that figure. More crazy numbers incoming for this Tuesday.
