  1. Its run has been great, it's just that I can't get excited for it much...especially when I think they could have done a better job with the film.
  2. I'm so bored with its run for some reason.
  3. What does cold have to do with anything?
  4. So by saying "Don't inflate expectations," means I was taking it personally?
  5. Really, so you had cold-hard fact that it was going to be a WOM powerhouse?
  6. LOL. Just stop. No need to inflate expectations anymore.
  7. Exactly, that's exactly why it's hard to take you seriously. Why predict a film when there was absolutely no footage whatsoever released?
  8. $400m isn't happening, let alone an absurd $460m. Lay off the crack, sil vous plait.
  9. BJ, where do you see this ending up with?
  10. Yeah, all the threads look new to me. I hate it.
  11. Where's BJ? Hunger Games hitting a 3.0 multiplier my ass...
  12. 1. I was reading this thread yesterday and literally could not believe a 24m Friday. Seemed bizarre.2. I'm happy for its success and couldn't give a rat's fart when it beats DH2 (worldwide...not even remotely close)3. 24m to 18.9m...wow, talk about an enormous downgrade.
  13. exactly what I predicted for Wrath.
  14. WTF would Warner Brothers remove it?! That's so insulting.
  15. The best film of 2006, and one of my favorite films of all time. It's impossible not to love this. A+
  16. Which should be enough for all of you, but it clearly isn't! It doesn't even need to do $380m to be bigger than DH2.
  17. Just to make it clear. HP1 adjusts to an opening weekend of $125m. This was back in 2001 without IMAX, midnights, and a general lack of frontloadedness. Opening today, it would have easily opened to over $145m. Probably $155m. But worse legs. I have been one of the biggest support of THG, and I always will be, but calm down with the $400m+ predicts for it. It is absolutely going to have a better drop than the later Potters and Twilight, but to break the second weekend record? I will be shocked. I still see a $62m weekend for it (60% drop). 55% will be a struggle to reach.
