Just finished watching it and I have to say, it's a pretty darn good movie. It was quite refreshing to have an action movie set somewhere else but the United States. The story was good, but got a bit confusing as more characters kept popping up and a few things were not explained properly (or at least I didn't get them). I liked the scores for this. At points it really fell into the background, but it had moments where it shone.

The Bourne Identity misses the more nuanced direction of the Greengrass films, but Doug Liman still does a good job setting up this series. It's a compelling action film (the car chase scene in Paris is a highlight) led by an excellent Matt Damon, but it's hard to believe that this is what revolutionized the way PG-13 action was done in the United States. Still, The Bourne Identity is pretty good, thanks to its well-rounded cast and excellent action. B-
