Hmm this one is kinda great all throughout but then that end sequence with the helicopter and the train kinda ruins it and coincidentally sets the tone for the rest of this ongoing series

Up till then its your regular spy movie with action but actually believable action

all in all I would say

7/10

MI2 remains the only unwatched MI now There are some amazing sequences like the beginning the agents being taken one by one, the climax and the hanging wire scene, they are breathtaking and the tension is almost palpable. The score itself is good at best, but the theme is just fucking great, always used in the right moments. Cruise was very good and the special effects holds up incredibly well. Is it by the number? yes, but it's well executed by the numbers. 75/100 the Blu ray transfer is really bad ugh

A

Great movie. The scene where they hack the computer while hanging over the floor is really tense. Tom Cruise is great and it is clear that Ethan is younger and less mature in this film. A little harder to follow then the other three films. I can't help bit getting a wide ass grin on my face every time the main theme starts playing.

Very good, notably more realistic than the other ones with a cool style. I need to see more De Palma but I especially liked his use of angles during it. Good cast too; Vanessa Redgrave was excellent in her small role A-
