luna
the killing is a rather uninteresting story with bland characters that has been edited marvelously. perhaps i was disappointed partly because it displayed practically none of kubrick's trademark characteristics, but it isn't great. clever non-linear editing can't carry a film. i want to see paths of glory. i don't expect much from his remaining three films, fear and desire, killer's kiss and spartacus, but we'll see. The killing is not the most famous Kubrick's films for sure, but for me, it is the best. It is a puzzle that is done after 80 vertiginous minutes. It captivated me. I strongly recommend you Paths of glory. Another masterpiece.

Ozymandias
His films were always far more apprecaited years after they were released... Yea I know, nobody consistently divided the critics and audiences more than Kubrick.
