Sorry other than Boogie Nights which made my top 50. I think PTA films are highly overrated

Personally I'm not a fan of Magnolia and The Master at all, but TWBB is a fucking monster of a film. And while I like Boogie Nights a lot, I never considered it substantial enough to put into any "best of" lists. It's got some great, inspired scenes and some terrific characters, but I don't get a lot out of it as a whole.

#31 (aka Tele massacres the entire forum)

31. Lawrence of Arabia

LYR: 66

David Lean, 1962

Nominated for 10 Oscars, won 7

69 points

"Nothing is written."

Synopsis: A flamboyant and controversial British military figure and his conflicted loyalties during his World War I service in Arabia.

Trivia: Almost all movement in the film goes from left to right. David Lean said he did this to emphasize that the film was a journey.

#30 (Hooper weeps)

30. The Social Network

LYR: 17

David Fincher, 2010

Nominated for 8 Oscars, won 3

"Drop the 'The.' Just Facebook. It's cleaner."

Synopsis: Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, but is later sued by two brothers who claimed he stole their idea, and the cofounder who was later squeezed out of the business.

Trivia: Every shirt and fleece that Mark wears in the film is something that the real Mark Zuckerberg has worn.
