Synopsis: A teenager is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his friend, Dr. Emmett Brown, and must make sure his high-school-age parents unite in order to save his own existence.

 

Trivia: In the original script, Doc Brown and Marty sell bootleg videos in order to fund the time machine.

WTF

why so highly like. I like the film. But this surprise me so much.

I think you should leave them separate - what about Back to the Future and Matrix? 

 

Eh, I think people raise good points as to why LOTR is different from other series. It was planned in advance, shot continuously, based on a single book, etc. I'm not sure yet, though.

Those were simply two sequels filmed back to back as lengthier productions. LOTR was literally one giant production: from day to day, they might be filming scenes from different movies (and in fact given the number of units shooting, were often shooting all three films daily. In fact, the movies are very much like the book (which was also written as one big volume and split into three for commercial reasons).

Mostly awful top 20, so far. Kubrick's jump and casablanca were nice surprises. Glad to see all the big budget films fall. Godfather's fall is actually good. Brings it roughly in line with where I think it should be.

Synopsis: The cyborg who once tried to kill Sarah Connor is dead, and another T-101 must now protect her teenage son, John Connor, from an even more powerful and advanced Terminator, the T-1000.

Trivia: To date, this is the only sequel to win an Academy Award when the previous movie wasn't even nominated.
