Before Captain Marvel claims anything from number 3 to number 5, here are top 15 superhero openers in India. Only Hollywood ones, if I include local superhero films, 2.0, Krrish 3, Enthiran, RA.ONE and Krrish will be there. I am not sure about Spider-man 3 numbers.

 

Avengers: Endgame will easily top the chart, I am expecting around ₹47-50cr i.e. $6.9-7.7 million. Spider-man: Far From Home shall open to non-Avengers highest numbers.

Just realised Far From Home will be releasing during the World Cup. There will be an India match on Saturday, so Saturday gonna be ugly for sure. Then if India reach knock-out stages, 3 more days gonna suck.

BTW I am not sure about it, because the number isn't from my regular source, but pre-sales till Wednesday morning in India ₹3cr GROSS approx. Final number shall be around ₹13-15cr Approx.

 

That bodes into ₹50cr GROSS weekend, i.e. $7mn.

Roughly Ultron numbers, right? Way better than I would have expected for CM a year ago, IW really had a great effect it seems to me.

Yeah but Ultron inflation adjusted opening day would be ₹19cr approx today on around half screens. I see this doing ₹15cr in best case.

Captain Marvel ₹7cr Approx pre-sales in India with 7 hours to go. Final number will be ₹9-10cr. Opening day could be ₹16cr Approx ($2.3mn).

Take the numbers with pinch of salt. Not my regular source. I am just testing it for future.
