₹6cr Approx pre-sales for The Lion King. These numbers are good, but not visible on Bookmyshow. 

Certainly better than Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Hoping it will do better.

 

The day wise gross for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

 

Thursday: ₹7.98cr
Friday: ₹9.26cr
Saturday: ₹14.87cr
Sunday: ₹17.25cr

 

Total: ₹49.35cr ($7.35mn)

But Shah Rukh and Aryan are well cast. Shah Rukh’s voice of course has a wonderful familiarity. We’ve known it for more than 25 years. When Mufasa speaks, the voice and our relationship with it imbues the character with authority and affection. Aryan’s voice is introduced when Simba grows up. So if you want to give The Lion King a shot, my advice is, see it in Hindi. In English, it will be even more forgettable

If it gets half of WOM tgat TJB got, then expect 4th highest grossing Hollywood grosser.

 

And what if it gets 75% of WON tgat TJB had?

 

Equal WOM as TJB i don't think will happen.

Targeting 5th biggest opening day, around 14-14.5 crore. Shall be over TJB OD but release is 40% bigger, so don't get the ideas and of course inflation. Expecting 55 crore weekend, that will be 3rd highest of all time.
