"Forced?" Why Fox is skimping on this one? This has a potential for a mini LOTR kind of performance.

$300 WW thereabouts. The current sequel is rather meh, showing Fox's lack of interest in anything

nowadays. Has Fox made anything spectacular these days...? Other than Cameron's stuff.

FOX already dumped it DOM with a terrible release date. They seem to have no interest in doing another.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters finished first in 10 of its 36 markets this weekend. The adventure flick has now grossed an overseas total of $46.5 million. Brazil led the new markets with a $3.9 million opening, followed by France with $3.6 million, and Germany with $2.1 million. The Percy Jackson sequel will expand to 11 additional markets next weaken, including a potentially big pay-day in Russia. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters has grossed $75.4 million worldwide.

It's awesome for a weekend in Brazil. That means it should get more than 15M total here, what would be like 60% more than the first one.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters reached a $62.6 million overseas cume with the help of a $4.9 million opening in Russia. The film held on to the top spot in France ($2.6M Weekend / $7.6M Cume) and Brazil ($2M Weekend / $7M Cume). The Percy Jackson sequel has grossed $110.9 million worldwide.
