I used to love this movie so much when I was younger, but when I rewatched it a few weeks ago I was amazed at how bad it is. That said, it's bad in a good way. The little kids shouting "Nobody's looking!" as loud as they could, the atrocious special effects, the terrible acting... all funny.

 

It's a shame to see such a great concept and short story go to waste, it's no wonder King hates it.

 

The score is creepy though and the murder of the little boy is even a bit scary. So it does have that going for it.

 

On a related note has anyone seen the third movie? It's one of my all-time favourite bad movies. Just glorious.

I still love this movie.  Funny enough, I'm watching it again tonight. I'll let you know if my opinion has changed.

I saw this a year ago actually on TV (AMC channel I think). It was okay, a bit weird and the acting was kind of bad. But overall I enjoyed it.
