The Creator
We're not quite done with 5.3 "The Ventures" just yet, but so you guys are prepared enough time in advance, here will be this weekend's game. 5.4 "The Straw That Broke The Camel's Back" Deadline: Friday, November 1 at 5:00 P.M. Eastern (4:00 P.M. Central) Predict the following: 1. Ender's Game's Friday gross as a percent of its overall weekend gross (e.g. if it makes 15 million Friday and 45 million for the weekend, your answer could be 33%, 33.3%, or 33.33%.) 2. The difference in Free Bird's Friday and Sunday grosses (subtract its Sunday gross from its Friday gross. Do not include Saturday gross) 3. Last Vegas's combined Friday and Saturday per theater average (do not include Sunday's per theater average in this figure) 4. Dallas Buyers Club's opening weekend gross 5. About Time's weekend per theater average

ChD
I don't expect a high score this week. I was so not in the mood to think and stuff that I mostly predicted random numbers...
Jim Shorts
4 & 5 are the wild cards this week. The other three you can get away with.
chasmmi
4 & 5 are the wild cards this week. The other three you can get away with. Exactly, especially Q4, I decided to risk going crazy high and predicted like a 8k PTA for Dallas, no idea if I've gone far too high, to low or what? It's a film that will never get released over here in a year of Sundays. But that's all part and parcel of the game
Jim Shorts
I don't think it's going to pull a Lovelace and bomb. I have it w/ a 30k PTA.

The Creator
5.4 "The Straw That Broke The Camel's Back" There can be no time to lament a loss as great as Acsc's. If Acsc dwells on the loss of his master, brother, and closest ally, then the pain will be too overbearing for him, and he will lose his focus. If XenoZodiac taught him one thing, it is that focus is what keeps one in the game. After five seasons, Acsc has expanded so very, very much...and focus should come naturally to him. Yet it still stings to lose a partner as loyal, homely, and comforting as XenoZodiac. Acsc's losses are further reverberated by the longing absence of loyal partner and friend CEDAR, whose demise in the Season 4 finale may have been a final blow. Acsc does not scorn though, nor will he sulk and submit himself to remorse. He is a Team Captain in the fullest now; he must be the one to guide "The Shadowgods", alone now that Xeno has fallen into the ashen unknown. Acsc must persevere for the sake of Olive and Gizmo, so that they can have the same opportunities that he has always had in the past. It's raining. The rain pours in torrents as Acsc trudges through the forest to find his partners and deliver them the news of their team captain's demise. Lightning crackles overhead and a boom of thunder brings an onslaught of leaves down on Acsc as he keeps focused...focus, focus, focus. The rain does not hold him back; his emotions drained, and yet, no tears leak from his eyes. Only rain drops trickle down his cheeks. Boom! The thunder echoes overhead. The storm is brewing, and Acsc does not wander alone in the forest. There is a viper there, watching, lurking in the dark and ominous woods. If it were to hiss, it would be Acsc's name it would hiss...a sound it would issue from the depths of the darkness. What is this bizarre fiend that stands hidden in the shrouded darkness? Time will bring us the answer. ...Jim Shorts wanders through the forest, Goffe by his side. They stop to take shelter from the rain, and a figure comes to them in the late night (or perhaps it's still day...it's too dark to tell). Jim braces for an attack, not recognizing the figure. But it draws no weapons, only raises a lone finger. And with the finger, it silences the rain around the duo. Jim and Goffe say nothing, only watch. And the figure, hidden in the black night and gray storm clouds, whispers low...so very low, yet melodious. The loneliness, the isolation, the fear, the unknown, sorrow, grief, remorse...everything, everything, everything....it washes away like the rain. The whispering continues, and Jim and Goffe take in the news with warmth flooding into their cold bodies. This is it. Now the prelude is over, and we shall take a look at the results for this week. Soon, we shall find out what has been entailed. The Creator
I'm sorry, but without Jay I am out of here also. But have fun guys! You're free to do as you please. If you are only quitting because you don't think you'll be given a team, you're wrong. You have a lot of options, and there are many teams willing to accept you. Jay was not the best example of a leader this season as he was absent for a large portion of it so far, so that may have affected your view substantially. If you keep at it, though, you may find it's worth it. I try to guarantee a high satisfaction rating, but I understand if there are time commitment issues or other factors influencing your decision here.
